I can't say enough great things about Basilico From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with warm smiles from the owners, who truly make you feel like family. The cozy atmosphere adds to the overall delightful experience.The food is nothing short of fantastic. Every dish bursts with authentic flavors and is prepared with love and care. Their pasta dishes are to die for, and the homemade sauces are heavenly. Don't even get me started on their delectable desserts!Would highly recommend!

Simply the best Italian food! The ingredients were fresh, the atmosphere was intimate, and the timing of order to the table was impeccable. The chef really knows what they are doing, and the depth of the flavor for sauces are true labor of love. Highly recommend the clams (broth was mildly spicey and rich), the burata bruchetta (amazing), and pistachio cream canoli.Would definitely repeat and recommend to family/friends.

First time there and it’s a very small place but the service was great and food was excellent! Stick with one of the pasta dishes for the entree. Apps and salad was great too.

Always heard good things and when my friends and I finally got to try this place it hit the spot right on. Our host was very friendly and accommodating and what steals the show and had us full even before getting to our main pasta entrees were the appetizers (specifically the clam sauce and the burrata). We ended up having to bring take home boxes which upon later reheat of the food were spot on for leftovers. As both a foodie and traveler I’m glad to know as a local to Raritan that we have another great option for dining without having to go too far or across the way to Somerville for a savory Italian meal.

Would say the food is good. So I went there February 3 my experience was not good I was ask if had reservations it was about 5:30 place was empty about 4 couples were seated they said I could be seated but would have to be done in 45 minutes so said ok so as soon as got my meal me and my wife finished I was given the bill so I can leave no one else came in within that hour and we wanted to order a dessert and coffee didn't what to argue we just left would go back or recommend this place for that go to Espo"s Italian restaurant great restaurant and they will accommodate you without reservations. And a great restaurant old school Italian food

We had dinner at Basilico last Saturday and it was out of this world. I had the Ragu Napoletano, the beef was so tender it melted in my mouth. My husband had the Ai Fungi and can not stop talking about it. This place is traditional Italian at its best. The atmosphere is cozy and fun and the service is wonderful. I highly recommend.
