Went for first time. It was beautifully decorated for the holidays. However, as soon as we walked in i knew the food would be ok at best. Not authentic Italian. Glorified pizza place food was basically what it was. Server was very nice, just very unsure. Possibly new. Once and a while you'd get a whiff of the cigar bar next door. Not pleasant. There are so many great restaurants around, I wouldn't repeat going back to this one.

Another great business lunch with outstanding food and service. Coming back with a group for dinner next week to start the Holiday season off. Restaurant was decorated and looks amazing for the Christmas season. Never disappoints!

Our lunch at Buona Sera was excellent. The menu was varied and the food quality was among the best we have had a NJ restaurants. The server was very knowledgeable regarding both food and their wine menu and provided great service overall.

Love coming here especially for pre-dinner shows to the Count Basie theater. Food is great and, no doubt, there's so much of it, you're definitely leaving with a doggie bag. The wait staff are excellent at their job and always enjoyable interacting with them. Will also comment on their dessert - try the cannoli cake. It's excellent. And, a shout out to the valet service team. They were very nice and I appreciate their accommodation in taking care of my car. TY Buona Sera...

Service was great! Michael is an excellent, attentive server. Food was ok. I got the salad with poached pear. There were about 3 small pieces of pear in that salad and tasted canned. I almost forgot it came with pear it was so scarce but the blue cheese was in abundance so that was good. Caprese tower appetizer with burrata was just ok but served ice cold so the burrata lacked the creaminess and the tomatoes were not ripe. The large rigatoni bolognese was not good. They were not rigatoni. They were flat square shaped possibly homemade pasta that were thick, doughy, and heavy. I think I attempted to eat two pieces. The sauce did not stick to them....no ridges! The sauce was not a sauce yet. It was a pile of ground meat/veg with very little tomato base to it and it was super bland so it did not mix well with the pasta to coat it. We had to make a show so we didn't have time to get anything else. Haven't been to Bueno Sera in years and was excited about this dinner.

Food was delicious! We both started with salads then he had chicken parm and i had the capellini with shrimp. We finished by sharing the Reeses cake and the milkshake, which were both amazing! Everything was exceptional, with generous portions. Service was fantastic and attentive. Our only complaint was the noise. We were seated near the servers station and between the noise from that, as well as the noise from conversation and laughter, it was hard to hear my husband at times.
Our waitress was wonderful, apps., main course and dessert were all great! We were celebrating my son's 40th birthday and it was a perfect place to celebrate!

We have been to Buena Sera for many years and have never had a bad experience or issue with the food. Last night however was a first. The stuffed artichoke I had as an appetizer was a disappointment. The stuffing was OK but the artichoke was underdone and very chewy. Artichokes are supposed to melt in your mouth and this one was far from it. The rest of the meal as usual and expected was great. This is the first time I had not given a 5 star rating.

10000/10!! Literally sitting at the table now and felt so compelled to write this review. I came here for my best friends birthday with my girls. Christina was our waitress and let me tell you, she did not miss a beat. From her friendly demeanor, to her attentiveness to our experience, she hit the ball out of the park. We ordered a couple appetizers, and our mains from the specials menu. Everything was absolutely delicious. Our water cups were always filled, and our cocktails were delicious. Would 10000% recommend to all my friends and family. Thank you for a great night Buona Sera.
