Excellent experience! If you're looking for something special or just a casual night out Char has you covered. Our server, Brian, was dialed in to what we were looking for and everything he recommended was amazing! We tried a little bit of everything; it was all perfectly prepared and delicious! It would be tough to find anything negative, but if I had to the only thing was the parking, make sure you leave a few extra minutes to park and walk to the restaurant, but that's Red Bank.

Consistently Consistent! Both the food and the service never disappoints. The staff is always extremely professional, and the steaks are always cooked to perfection. Best au gratin potatoes in the area. Add to that, an excellent wine list. This is one of the few restaurants that keeps me coming back!

Excellent, friendly, efficient waiter (Eric) made it a special anniversary dinner. The ambiance was very nice upstaris in one of the few booths. Food was well prepared and tasty, just quite small portions for the prices charged, which is why the rating is less than stellar. This is not for the budget minded diner ... will cost in excess of $250 for a couple to have one cocktail, appetizer and main. But for a special occasion, it was perfectly enjoyable.

Food was delicious and our server was so friendly and helpful. Just wish the menu would designate gluten free since some choices we thought were safe were not. Would be so helpful for the customer as well as the servers.

Adrian was an amazing, professional waiter! From the entrance through our completion of the meal, the experience was one to come back to. The food recommendations were awesome. Try to cream corn with truffles! Delish! The Sirlion Steak was cooked as asked for and the attention to detail on delivery of the food and how often our waiter came by the table was of another level. Overall, please give this man a raise! Or at the least, make sure he is brought up on the next team meeting :) - Truly a blessing :)
Char has officially become my mew favorite steak house. I LOVE the flavors incorporated into every dish Ive ordered from there. From the bacon slab to the filet mignon, everything os delicious!! The death by potatoes are amazing: The ONLY thing I would change about this place (Char at Red Bank) are some of the hostesses. I have been to Char quite a few times and every time I have gone; only one hostess smiles (the one with the long black hair)while the other two look like they don't want to be there.

Sat outside because it was beautiful. A panhandler was able to approach us with plenty of staff around. The food was ok, nothing to brag about for the price we paid. The area was super cute. Would sit inside if I went back.

My wife and I celebrated our 30 year anniversary today at Char. Our server Brian was great and personable. Food was excellent. My wife had a perfectly cooked Filet while I enjoyed the Kansas City cut. Sides and dessert was also very good. Thanks
