We were dining at 5pm and owned the place. Our server Jess was very good and the ambiance was charming, like a backyard heheh. The entrees were yummy and filled us up. I do love a BYOB spot.

We really enjoy Ellli's Backyard. Food is good, especially the cauliflower appetizer! Servers are so nice! The fact that it is a byob makes a meal out very affordable.

This is a really lovely little place in downtown Red Bank. Food is well prepared, fresh, and served hot! Traditional selections and a couple new offerings AND it is BYOB!

The appetizers were amazing I would highly suggest the fried cauliflower and firecracker shrimp. The cheese bread wasn't what we expected and didn't meet our expectations.

Had the chicken francaise, it was very good! Our waiter was the sweetest guy and the owner is a true doll! They went above and beyond to make us happy! Would absolutely recommend this place!!

Absolutely Excellent! My family celebrated my mom's 90th birthday with a buffet in the private room at Elli's Backyard. My heartfelt compliments to Annie and all the staff who made this a fabulous experience. Annie worked seamlessly with me through the arrangements, including ensuring that guests with food allergies would enjoy tasty, satisfying meals - and dessert! The decor was lovely, including a little corner called "Secret Garden" where the three pint-sized guests could play. The service was thorough and attentive. And THE FRESH, FLAVORFUL FOOD! Rave reviews from EVERYONE present. I can't say enough great things about Elli's Backyard. We all thank you for making this occasion such wonderful celebration :-)))))

Nice restaurant, not sure why it was not crowded for a Saturday night because the food and service were 💯. The appetizers, fried Calamari were lightly fired not greasy and Kung pao shrimp were huge and very tasty. The salmon was cooked perfectly as requested. The salads are enormous, a little too big Desserts are shareable. I would definitely recommend especially happy to support a young entrepreneur

Ellie's Backyard is a great place to eat. I would call it an hidden gem but it's not. It's in the middle of downtown. Kristen (Scooby) was an Amazing server, hostess, and busser. She was all over the place but that young lady was communicating the whole time. The food was Delicious, I mean WOW. If ever I'm back in Jersey. I will be back. The atmosphere there was inviting and exotic at the same time lol. I love how the inside of the restaurant was set up. I love this place and you will too. I believe there was another server there who was working her butt off too. Great place and great food.

The chicken parm had way too much sauce and the chicken teriyaki in the pineapple was horrible. Chicken was old, cold and rubbery, very dry. Rice was stale and hard. Not good at all. Server was extremely kind.
