My husband and I stumbled across this restaurant driving to our destination. It does gets a little busy, we had to wait about 10-15 minutes for a table but it was worth the wait. You can taste the freshness and I am sure someone’s abuela is in the back kitchen. The food came out hot and Delicious! Everyone was friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. We both agreed that traveling 1 hr for authentic Mexican food is worth the drive.

Tried this place for the first time sorry it took me so long to go. It was delicious. The owner, Tino was so nice. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable knowing it was our first time there, but it will not be our last we will be regulars. We’ve told all our neighbors. Yum

Not a single thing wrong about this place. Good food, good people. Good vibes. What else can you ask for?

Vegetarian options: Not sure how many vegetarian options they have, but if you tell Tino don't put any meat in it. He will make sure that none of the ingredients go anywhere near the meat. Also could be good for someone who has allergies. Yes they have a lot of onions but he can do his best. He will accommodate anyone for whatever they need

Dietary restrictions: Very thorough accommodations if you explain them well. Bonus points if you speak some Spanish

Parking: Street parking in Red Bank depends on the time of day

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly will accommodate picky eaters

Wheelchair accessibility: Limited accessibility. But again, if you need help getting over the bump just ask one of their lovely workers for a hand and they will accommodate you as best as they can in there limited space

The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. Customer service was good. They took my order right away. However, the food was very bland for the most part. I ordered a chicken barbecue That came with pork ribs and sausage but I substituted it for shrimp because I don’t eat pork. There needs to be more options to substitute for people who do not eat pork.

It all started with a TikTok video

So, my girlfriend and I have passed this restaurant many times while driving through Red Bank. We have always spoken of trying out the food but it wasn't until I saw their videos on TikTok that I made the effort to try them for dinner.

And if you don't know what I am talking about, there are some cool videos on TikTok of these guys cooking chicken over a pit that makes your mouth water. I mean, one look at those videos and you realize this is a place you need to try.

The restaurant did not disappoint

My girlfriend and I arrived around 5 pm on a weekday evening. We were immediately warmly greeted by the staff and seated at a table. The place was empty but that was soon to change.

I ordered the Tinos Trio (I was told this was their most popular item) and my girlfriend ordered the BBQ Chicken platter.

Even before our entrees arrived I was very impressed that we were not only served an ample amount of chips and salsa to digest, but after we quickly finished it all, we were offered more. Tino's is certainly not stingy when it comes to offering as many chips as you want before your meal.

Our entrees arrived on a colorful, long plate. The BBQ was sensational. And, again talking about ample portions, I was given a boatload of soft, hot tortillas to wrap the food in.

Best of all, entrees for two people along with a Diet Coke cost a little over $40 and we walked out of the place stuffed.

It was nice to see that an hour after we arrived the place had filled up. This looks like a very popular Mexican dining spot. We wish the owner and his staff much success as we will be back several times more.

The food was very delicious, especially the wood-fired chicken, very delicious. I loved it. Apart from the fact that the owner receives you very kindly and gives you a welcome like family, blessings and prosperity for that family that dislikes a good special dish with love...

I came with my boyfriend about 45 minutes before closing after seeing them on TikTok. The customer service, food and everything was just amazing. The food was great 10/10 and was made freshly even after coming really late, which we appreciated. Everyone was really nice. You should definitely try Tino's. ☺️
