My husband and I had an early dinner at the Molly Pitcher before a show at the Count Basie. The food and service were excellent! I ordered a pork chop with butternut squash risotto. It was the best pork chop I ever had! I will definitely go back to order it again. My husband had some kind of seafood mixture over bread, which he also loved! The restaurant was not crowded at all so I wasn't surprised by the excellent service, but Jorge was very friendly and personable, yet professional!

Overall, it was a fine dining experience with a very personable & professional waitstaff. The one glitch was the fried eggplant sandwich which was overcooked & very dry.

Beautiful setting on the water, friendly and courteous staff, food was very well prepared, and the ambience was outstanding. Just an incredible establishment to enjoy a "high end" lunch, with no pressure and great service!

It's was my birthday lunch with a girlfriend she took out to celebrate 🎊 we both had the onion soup I would've preferred a mozzarella melted over the soup bowl instead of rings of onions. Otherwise it was tasty. Soup itself and we shared a chicken sandwich with mozzarella and roasted peppers. There wasn't much chicken on the sandwich. It was one little slice a lot more mozzarella and roasted peppers that's why I gave it four stars also the soup like I said it would've been nice if they had the cheese covered over the bowl of soup instead of the rings of onions fried onions.. It could be more of a hearty sandwich, especially with the prices. The ambience was nice. Service was very good I would've preferred a mozzarella melted over the soup bowl instead of rings of onions. Otherwise it was a tasty soup itself .

Kevin and his whole team run the best hotel, food, and beverage ever. The place is perfect and is always so relaxing—a perfect 10/10 experience with the best hospitality. What a view.

We dined during Restaurant week. The Restaurant week menu offered a nice selection at a good value. The dining room overlooks the water. Service and Food were excellent.

Went for lunch w/ family & always enjoyed. This time, seemed very short staffed & did a lot of waiting for things. When food finally arrived, 2 lunches had to be sent back as they were not cooked properly, so more waiting. We did not get dessert which we normally do because we had been there so long, we ran out of time. Very disappointing. However, our server, Andrew, was wonderful & did the best he could. Felt sorry for him as he was in constant motion going from table to table.

I was pleasantly surprised. The view was lovely, piano music. The tuna tostado was delicious fresh tuna avocado pickled onions, filet mignon was cooked as ordered and creamy mashed potatoes and a nice horseradish sauce. The steak needed a sauce. The grilled orange old fashioned was good but I didn't like my martini I think it was either the vermouth or olive juice or the combo. Overall a good experience I would recommend and return.

Loved the seafood pot pie and the chocolate mousse cake! The noise level made us have to lean over the table and talk loudly to the people we were with.

Asparagus quiche and salad were very good and apple crumble was tasty. All a good size portion for lunch. Staff was friendly and helpful. A lovely experience.

Had a wonderful anniversary dinner! Staff is so friendly and attentive; decor and view is really nice; short ribs were excellent and my husband raved over the seafood chowder. Menu prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality. We were treated to champagne and dessert because it was our anniversary. Had such a nice night. Highly recommend!

It was a beautiful day, so we sat outside to enjoy our brunch! I had the chorizo and egg sandwich on a baguette with fresh avocado!! It was delicious!! My picky daughter had the lobster roll, and she was very happy! It came with a salad and a pesto vinaigrette dressing, it was delightful! Debbie our server was on top of everything! She made the experience even better!!

The Molly Pitcher Inn is a wonderful place to dine. They are consistent, it's a lovely setting, complete with a view of the Navesink River. It's cozy, food is great as is the service and attention to detail. Highly recommend.
