Total rip-off! We got slammed with $4 for an upgrade to brown from white rice and $4 for a cup of Lipton tea served in some random mug. The portions were expensive and tiny, and the food didn't even look fresh. Never going back.

Our experience was very disappointing. It’s not always about the food when you go to restaurant. I don’t know how they are getting good reviews when the restaurant was completely empty on Saturday. Despite the good reviews, the food was average and didn't justify the high prices. To make things worse, the owner was extremely rude when we asked about an additional service charge on top of the 20% gratuity for our party of five. We were told to go elsewhere if we didn’t like it. We won’t be returning.

Our group did not have a good experience at all. we went to this restaurant, reading the good reviews but we were utterly disappointed. The food is average. Nothing special about the it at all. Especially nothing to justify the hefty price tag associated with it. And to top it off, the owner was absolutely rude to us. they charge 20% gratuity on a party of five and we had an additional service charge (for credit card use) after that and all we wanted to know was what the other charge was and the owner was extremely rude when we asked him and told us we can just go to some other restaurant if we want. Never going back again. 👎

Every time we pass by this restaurant from the outside you can see it's pretty empty. But we figured to give it a try. The food was delicious, we ordered the fried Thai spring rolls, and they come with 4. Then, a chicken fried rice along with the Basil duck #72.
Comes with the fried duck, and it was crispy, bell peppers, string beans. Carrots, broccoli, mushrooms. onions and basil leaf and white rice on the side.
All dishes were delicious. I just think the entree prices are kind of high $$.
The servers were great and very attentive. Love the decor inside the restaurant.

The food is fresh and delicious! The restaurant is beautifully decorated. It is very clean. It is a perfect little getaway in the heart of Red Bank. The soup, the Fried rice, the satay, all delicious! After a long day at work. This was the best reward.

The restaurant is adorable, with decorations that make you think you've arrived in Thailand. I ordered Chicken Satay and it was amazing, not spicy but flavorful. We also got Panang Curry. We asked for spicy as I am Indian but I shouldn't have because this is as authentic Thai restaurant and I should have realized their spicy level is actually spicy but regardless the curry was amazing. Hot, flavorful and amazing texture. Then we got the pad Lee mao noodles and that was my favorite. It was so tasty and the spices were on point. It was so flavorful. The mango sticky rice was amazing, we got it with the ice cream.

Open on Monday, excellent Thai and wonderful decor. The broth in the hot pot is excellent. Cream comes through in Green tea ice cream. Thai Pumpkin custard is a different in a good way. Getting more fresh spring rolls for ride back home.

A big 4 1/2 stars for Muang Thai restaurant. Went here on a recommendation and was pleasantly surprised. So much decoration everywhere it took us a while to order since we were caught up in looking at everything. The menu is quite large, so have an idea of what you are looking for. The Chicken Satay appetizer was amazing followed by this delicious little ginger salad. The Red Curry Chicken was very good and the Tom Yum Noodles with beef was a large portion but lacked in flavor and the peanuts were chopped a little too small making the noodles a bit gritty. The service was a little slow and I don't understand why waiters don't remove the plates from the first course before bringing the second course... IDK. All in all it's a fine place to go so check it out.
