Food took a very long time, place was relatively empty for a fri night in summer. Prices were very high for 3 people who shared an app and shared salad. Been going there for years, for the price they need to do better.

We consider Pazzo to be one of our favorite restaurants to dine as a family & celebrate a birthday. Mondays are a great value for 1/2 price pizza & pasta that we all enjoy!

Although our server was great the restaurant was freezing and the noise level was just about intolerable. Also the tables were so close to each other there was no wiggle room and we are not big people. I ordered the pasta fagioli and it was horrible- it was salty and the noodles were not cooked enough. The margarita pie had no taste ( the worse one I have ever had) Sorry Pazzo, just being honest

Our waitress (Nazwa) was absolutely exceptional! Our main issue was the fruit flies everywhere.

The food is phenomenal! Cocktails are a must, as they are creative. The atmosphere is indoors, enclosed patio or outdoors. You can't go wrong with any of these choices!

Pazzo is a cool place in a great location. The hostesses were friendly, acknowledged our reservation, and seated the five of us immediately. The waitress came over, took our drink orders, and, upon bringing the drinks, took our appetizer and entree orders. We had the mussels (red), meatballs, baked clams, and salad as appetizers. All of the appetizers were top-notch. Cooked perfectly and delicious. Everything was going well, the food was great, and the service was efficient. Then, time seemed to stand still. It took forever to get our entrees - and everything that followed. Three of us ordered the shrimp oreganata, one ordered the halibut oreganata, and one ordered the gnocchi. The gnocchi and halibut were outstanding. The shrimp oreganta was terrible (borderline inedible). The shrimp and oreganata topping were cooked well, but the whole dish was overwhelmed by the taste of vinegar. It most likely wasn't vinegar, but cooking wine that hadn't been given time to burn off. The taste of vinegar was so strong that it completely ruined the dishes. It wasn't a one-off, either; all three of our dishes were inedible. We were at the end of a very long day and didn't want to wait for three new dishes, plus we're not the type to complain, so we ate the shrimp but didn't touch the pasta. For dessert, we had the Affogato, Tartufo, and pistachio gelato, along with decaf espresso. Dessert was excellent. Zero complaints. The service, however, after the appetizer round, was not good. I understand if the restaurant was understaffed and if our waitress was new (she was very nice and apologetic, by the way, for the slow service), but everything took forever. Start to finish, our meal took over two hours, and this wasn't a leisurely 'let's take our time' dinner; that's why we ordered our apps and entrees at the same time. The bill, with tip, was over $600. I guess Red Bank prices are what they are, and we never complain about the cost if the food/service is worth it. Sadly, it wasn't.

**5 Stars - Outstanding Experience at the Bar**

Had an incredible evening sitting at the bar at Pazzo. The service was absolutely superior - the bartender was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience memorable.

The veal parmesan was off the hook! Perfectly breaded, tender, and the sauce was exceptional. You can tell they take pride in their Italian classics here.

But the real showstopper was the butter cake for dessert - honestly one of the best things I’ve ever put in my mouth. Rich, decadent, and the perfect ending to an amazing meal.

The bar seating gives you a great view of the restaurant and the staff really knows how to take care of their guests. Will definitely be back soon!

Highly recommend Pazzo for anyone looking for authentic Italian food with top-notch service in Red Bank.

Well the food was great, we loved the dining experience, and we loved the waiter (Daniel G). He was very attentive and addressed our culinary questions.

There were two issues, I had reserved through open table, and specifically asked for an inside dining experience, not outside. The front desk put us outside, on the street, in the hot sun, next to a very busy road with loud traffic - really? We returned to the desk and I showed the receptionist my open table reservation, her response was you were booked outside, and looked at me as if that was it. Fortunately a manager saw the lack of executive function going on and seated us inside without me saying another word. Perhaps if you reserve you should NOT use Open Table, and just call for reservations. I gave the overall experience a three star for that reason. Not a good start.

Second we ordered the Pizzelle Tower for desert, it never came in time for us to make our show (we waited 33 minutes for desert). The restaurant took it off our bill, thank you.

This place has decent food but the service (wait times and attitude) is really bad. They prefer to chat and socialize.

Absolutely horrible! Imagine going to a restaurant and staying there for 2 and 1/2 hours and you still don't have your entree. We had a concert that night at the count Basie theater we arrived at 5:30 p.m. for a concert at 8:00 p.m., at 7:45 p.m. we still did not have our entrees! Absolutely horrible and disgusting service. Even tried to complain to the manager and he didn't even have the respect to come to our table and address what was going on. Absolutely disrespectful I'll never go here again advise others never to go! Absolutely disgusting

I had to quickly grab a drink before a show at count Basie with my sister and I have to say, my time was made due to the service at the bar with Tim. He was sweet, polite and funny! He also made the BEST espresso martinis (no baileys!) wished us a fun time at our show!

As always the service was great, the food is excellent and we were out in time to head to a show.

Edit: Im giving my review based on most of my times dining here. It was nice that the owner took his time to recognize my frustration. It was coming from a place of knowing this place and knowing it has top notch service. I’m going to leave my original comment so I can show that it was rectified in the owners response :)

I’m sitting in the restaurant as I write this disappointed that I have to. The food is stellar and always has been, but the service is not great at all. I think waiting over an hour to be served food on a Wednesday evening when reservations were open is absurd. We are here to celebrate and are all just annoyed. Really disappointing as I dined here 4-5 times in the past and never had this issue. Sorry for the one star pazzo, but this was insane.
