I have enjoyed coming to Red Rocks for several years. Unfortunately, an incident last night left a bad taste in my mouth. My girlfriend and I have had a stressful week. We decided to meet up here for a quiet dinner and go home to bed early. She arrived before me. A bouncer out front asked her for a cover charge as there was a band that night but she said she was just there for dinner and he let it go. I arrived maybe 20-30 minutes later. The bouncer said the same thing to me. I told him I was just there for dinner and that my party was already seated inside. I guess he thought I was trying to be sneaky because he said it was still $5 cover. I was very angry but rather than make a scene I gave him the $5. Lucky I even had cash on me. But that ruined my evening. I was angry at having to pay a cover for something I was not even participating in. We ate our dinner and went straight home about an hour-hour and a half later. So that $5 Will cost Red Rocks untold hundreds, maybe thousands of dollars in me never coming back. I’m sure it won’t make a difference as they do plenty of business. It’s not the amount of money. I just think they could manage this whole thing way more efficiently. And I feel insulted and disrespected.

Perhaps the worst burger ever. The sign said "hand crafted". I suppose it would have to be in order to get the burger so thin. Barely thicker than a slice of bacon.

Located on the Navesink River in Red Bank, this is a great choice for good food and local bar. I usually come here in the summer because they have the best rooftop bar overlooking the river and the little city of Red Bank. But, I'm glad I stopped in on this cold day. Espresso martini and bacon cheeseburger lollipops with homemade coleslaw, Yum! The service and cozy atmosphere make this place a must to stop for anyone who wants great food and service in Monmouth County.

Great restaurant! Inviting atmosphere with a balance between rustic charm and modern style. The rooftop bar is an incredible spot, especially on a nice day. The panoramic views of Red Bank and the Navesink River.
The food is great as well —every dish we ordered was prepared with such attention to detail. It's also nice they have a nice balance of traditional bar food and real dinner entrees.
The beer selection is top-notch, service is fast and friendly. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations, which always makes a difference.
Overall, Red Rock is one of the better restaurants in Red Bank. Great atmosphere, fantastic food, an impressive drink selection, and top-tier service. Highly recommended!
