Step through the doors of The Globe and into a world where time slows, where laughter mingles with the hum of the game, and where the clink of a perfectly poured pint feels like a familiar embrace. Since 1840, this hallowed spot has anchored downtown Red Bank—not just a sports bar, but a living relic of camaraderie, tradition, and the simple pleasure of a burger and a beer.
Once an inn sheltering weary travelers, today it shelters the spirit of the town. The barstools tell stories, the taps flow with over 30 stellar brews—domestic and foreign alike—and the famed Globe Burger is a rite of passage for any local or visitor. And if you're in the know? The pork roll fries—golden, crisp, and utterly decadent—are a must.
Fifteen flat screens glow, capturing every play, every moment, while seasoned bartenders—some here for decades—pour with precision and warmth. Their tenure speaks volumes: a sign of a place run right, of ownership that cares, of a bar where you’re not just served—you’re known.
In a world that races ahead, chasing trends and fleeting fads, The Globe remains steadfast, a beacon of what a bar should be. No pretense, no gimmicks—just good company, great drinks, and the kind of authenticity you can’t manufacture. Pull up a seat, order a Guinness (poured to perfection), and soak it in. Some places fade. The Globe endures.
Great Service, Sean is an awesome bartender and the food specials are always great! Best Burger around!

I really hate doing this because the globe has always been our go to spot. Love the usual service, love to cooks, everyone… but after tonight I refuse to go until the scumbag bouncer leaves/gets fired… right off the bat walking in from a wedding with 3 wedding goers. This guy:”ARE YOU GUYS DRUNK?! Me: no just having a drink he let us in and continued to Micromanage us as we sat there with a beer and as more people came it just only turned worse, this guy was wanting us to fight him, not the globe I know/remember…. I’ve been going to the globe for years but after tonight I will refuse to go until The bald head bouncer is removed!!!! I never get to this point because honestly the problem is usually me but this time it’s not….

Went for the first time for TGE and the service was awful.Bartenders barely cleaned the bar and left empty drinks there forever, took forever to get drinks, and kicker - I watched the bartenders berate customers for not having cash.Specifically a female bartender really went in on a customer because he ordered one drink with a card and she was so rude and nasty to him about not having cash. It’s unprofessional, and so unnecessary to treat people like that for no reason. Luckily since I had cash I wasn’t attacked by bartenders but watching it front row was enough to never go back.

The bartender accused us of stealing drinks after we clearly paid for it. Then a racist regular started cussing us out and nobody did anything. The globe in red bank allows racist people and predators to do whatever they want.

Great local bar with good bar food
Great local bar!
I'd poop here again!
I call it the Dive bar of Red Bank and you know Dive bars are the best! Drinks are good, peeps are good, and burgers are pretty darn good. All this and does not break the bank like the rest of Red Bank does.
