The most delicious Mexican food we've ever had. My guests live in San Diego and they agreed. Starts with the thinnest tortillas served hot with a roasted salsa rioja. Even the refried beans were creamy and delicious. Generous portions as well. Iced tea had a floral scent to it and served without sugar, just a wedge of lime. Worth every penny including our generous tip for the magnificent service.

Hidden secret of foodie restaurant.
We had delicious dinner guacamole and fried pork grind/meat. My husband had taco salad with beef, it was delicious. I would say their food is made with love and care. We liked it so much we went back with friends to eat lunch. We had the shrimp and cheese backednon cast iron pan, delicious. Our friend had beef fajita and it was great portion and again….delicious.
Parking is street parking, not too bad. This will be a go to for us now!!!

One of many times we've eaten at Toro Rojo. Always a treat and pleasure. They will make sangria out of your bottle of wine but we usually bring tequila and they provide pitchers or half pitchers of virgin margarita cocktail.

This place will give any other local Mexican restaurant a run for their money. Excellent, friendly service. The food was absolutely delicious, and the menu had all of our favorite things. It was perfect for our date night, great ambience and beautiful decor. Highly recommend.

Stopped by this birria food truck to get some authentic burria. And it was the worst plan I've ever come up with in my life because they lied about making birria, it was just tacos. This is false advertisement. It's not birria tacos it's just tacos. And they charged me an arm and a leg.

Went for an early lunch. It was our first time there. We were greeted quickly and seated pretty fast. It wasn't too busy but that is very important for me. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was cozy and very decorative. The establishment is clean and well kept. Moving on to the food, we ordered the specials. The food was tasty and very flavorful. We started off in an appetizer of a guacamole with chicharrones. It was different but very good. I forgot the name of the dish but we've got the specials, it had camarones and steak that was cooked a perfection. We had the tres leches dessert which was awesome. This place is a BYOB. What I am taking away from this place is that the food was prepared well, cooked properly, and the staff, I forgot to ask her name, was very friendly. She was so friendly that she gave us the dessert on the house. I don't think I've ever experienced that in any of the restaurants that I have been into. She was knowledgeable about her food and also gave us suggestions. We will definitely be back to try their other selections. I thank you for the marvelous experience and I hope that you guys stay for a long time. We may have found our new place to eat.

Parking: They have a small parking lot in the back, but plenty of street parking.

Kid-friendliness: Kids would like the colorful decor inside.
