Best sushi I have ever had in my life. I’ve been eating sushi for decades now and this place was by far the best. It’s about a half hour away but I’ve made the trip twice this past month already. The quality of the fish is of the highest quality. I live near Xina and this place crushes that spot. They have toro and king salmon on hand all the time. Not only is the quality of the fish the best the creativity of their rolls is Also the best I’ve ever had. The upstairs portion of the restaurant is small but it’s nice. It’s BYOB which I also like. It’s also right on a busy street in red bank with plenty of places in walking distance to go to for a drink after dinner if you want.

Got the ramen and it was ok - a bit too salty and overpriced for what you get.The service was god awful. We were a large party (14) but we had to basically beg for water and got no refills. On top of that, two of the entrees were just forgotten about and arrived 30 minutes after everything else after asking about it.

Don't go with a large group. Service is terrible, asked for 7 wine glasses got 6, ordered 4 bottles of water for 10 people got 6 glasses. Food came in stages so half the table had to watch with distain as the other half ate with long gaps in time as the food came out as if it was cooked on a single burner stove. Ate at the Sea Bright location and it was decent but this place cannot handle a full restaurant. Very disappointed!
Went on Saturday to celebrate our 18 year anniversary and Absolutely loved it! All of the food was fresh and delicious and all of the staff were very friendly and attentive. The interior is cozy, but nice. Will definitely be back! The Uni-Toro was devine and the Omakase my son got looked so fresh and exquisite. My son ate it all up heartily! I went for the ramen as it was a cold and wet night. Perfectly cooked egg and the first place I felt I actually got enough meat in the bowl without having to pay for extra. The waitress and host staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome the entire time we were there. Definitely recommend!

Easily the WORST sushi I've ever had. My wife and I ordered the pork bao and a handful of rolls. The bao and the crispy rice salmon roll were the saving grace because the majority of the sushi was really bad. Not to mention they are understaffed, had one woman waiting on every table upstairs (~15) tables upstairs so everything was slow. Big no fly on my sushi radar

Not good. The sushi was not good. Ordered several rolls and unhappy with all but the crispy rice tuna. The soda was flat and it took 20 minutes for us to get waters.They must be under staffed they had one person for the entire room. The runners didnt know table numbers so they would wait for the lone waitress to escort them to the table after she had to recheck the order in the computer because she has so many tables she couldn't remember orders correctly. The restaurant itself is not inviting, the carpets had a visible layer of gray dust where they didnt vacuum. Just an extremely disappointing and very expensive experience. Will not be returning.
