Amazing food and not obnoxiously loud. Any time we go to any other pocha we wish we were here instead. Our go to order is braised pork belly, roje rice cake, fire chicken, clam soup, and corn cheese.
Love something about pochas in the heat of summer. Maybe it’s the nostalgia of my younger days when we couldn’t afford much more than beer and popcorn with the ac. Now, it’s more ordering all the guilty pleasure drunk food with a frozen mug of draft beer.
The first thing I noticed about Duri Pocha is that the atmosphere and vibe are unique and energetic. I came for the World Cup watch party and was pleasantly surprised by the decor which was full of character, the variety of the menu, and the generous portion sizes. The service was amazing. I think in terms of authenticity, it varies depending on what you order. However, I’d definitely come back again. It’s a hidden gem in New Jersey.
