A hole in the wall restaurant that serves very Americanized "Chinese" food. The only dishes that I'd recommend are the dumplings. Everything else is similar to Panda Express.

Outstanding food and courteous service. Pretty much a take-out only restaurant. The soup, dumplings and egg rolls are the best. Sherry is a wonderful and caring person.

I was looking online for a Chinese food place with great reviews when I first heard of Bamboo House. It’s only been a few times that I’ve been able to stop in since I don’t live close, but whenever I’m in Ridgewood, I like to get something to eat here. It’s tough to find a truly great Chinese restaurant & this place lives up to the hype. The portions are generous, the dishes are saucy & flavorful & fresh. What really seals the deal for me though is the service; they are kind & friendly in a warm, sincere way. Bamboo House has been in business for a long time, for good reason. 10/10
