My favorite Ridgewood restaurant. Service was excellent as was the scallop and fettuccine di mare entrees. Nice outdoor dining experience.

The food was delicious and the presentation outstanding. We ordered off the prix fixe menu and got 4 wonderful courses. My filet mignon was cooked to perfection. Our servers were attentive and overall I woud give them 5 stars!

The food was amazing and portions were just right. I shared the mixed greens salad and the kitchen was nice enough to split that for us. The greens were fresh, the strawberries were sweet and delicious, the pecan and goat cheese and the dressing make for sure a wonderful salad. My husband had the Day Scallops that were perfectly prepared, my mother and sister each ordered the Pork riblets the meat was perfectly cooked and flew off the bones with ease. I had the Ahi-Tuna which was delicious. The service was very attentive and very professional.

Very poor experience. Food was very disappointing when we have always loved this place. Unfortunately, there is no reason to go back. I'm sending my scathing review in private to the management.

Attentive service, a quality menu cooked to perfection by Caesar. We had the mixed green salad and crispy roll for appetizers. Mixed green salad had strawberries, pecans, goat cheese, apples in a wonderful apple cider vinaigrette. The crispy roll was ribeye steak and mozzarella cheese in a crispy case, delicious. Fettuccini fruity di mare and halibut special for entrees we beautifullu presented and prepered with fresh ingredients and love. We sat outside in the courtyard that had a few larger tables, fans blowing on a hot night, all this created a great ambience. This BYOB was a lovely experience, we will be back.

Good food, expensive. BYOB. Service was conscientious and a bit unpolished, too eager to rush us. It would make sense to have printed menus as an option with the price point rather than the scanned QR codes. The QR allowed us to see pictures of the food, but printed menus display more class. The lighting is much too bright, and needs to be adjusted for ambiance.

It was our first time at Cafe 37, and we are already looking forward to the next time. Delish prix-fixe menu. Kudos to our engaging waiter Felix and Nelson who patiently took great photos that helped us celebrate our special occasion!

All I read about was how exceptional the service was and our experience was anything but. We had to ask the waiter for menus (yes, there is a QR code but we saw plenty of other tables with menus), he failed to tell us the specials (we had to ask him if there were any) or ask us if we wanted to have dessert (again, had to ask for a dessert menu). Then, when we asked for our vegetables to be boxed, when we got home we saw he only gave us one of them. So glad we spent all of that money for it to be thrown out.

Our dinner for four was wonderful! Food was delicious. Some had the tasting menu and others had a la carte. The sea bass was cooked perfectly and the skin was so crispy, a first for me as I've never had fish skin before. Others had the filet mignon which was also cooked to perfection. Servers were always available and very professional. We've been here several times and will continue to patronize this neighborhood gem!
