First time here, very sad. The girl working there was very rude. I’m always nice because it’s the way people should always be. I’ve been in the food industry for many years. I get it if you’re having a bad day but maybe try to be a little nice to customers. She was the only person working there and I guess she was mad because I interrupted her free phone time. Took my order very rudely and when it was finally ready I said thank you! She left in on the table for me to grand and proceeded to go to the back to be on her phone again. Didn’t even looked at me or anything. Definitely won’t be coming back here again. I’ll be taking my money somewhere else!

The worst customer service I've ever seen!!! I wanted to order a grapefruit green tea but I can't drink green tea so I asked to change it to black tea instead which is a simple ask but they said it's not allowed and when I asked why they simply just said no without any specific reason. Every other gong cha store has allowed me to customize my drink. I'm truly flabbergasted. Never coming here again. What's really crazy is they actually told me to go to another store after denying my request for some black tea. It's very unfortunate that a ridgewood resident like myself cant even buy a drink in their own town. Hoping to get an explanation on their behavior. Absolutely unacceptable.

Drinks are pretty good, though I wish the service was better. Some of the employees should be better with customers and have a brighter attitude whenever helping out customers. The food service industry is always people-oriented and should always be willing to serve and help out customers when needed.

As much as I love bubble tea, I much prefer the village tea shop. When asked for boba, they put too much and it goes right up your throat. However, I love their Chocolate items and their store design is very cozy, though quite small especially when an event is going on and the store is packed.

This local Gong Cha spot is for takeout only and has fast service. Their tapioca has a nice chewiness, and the drinks are decent overall.
I swore to never go back into this location because last time I did my clothes got so covered in disinfectant or air freshener (not sure what they spray, but it smells like strongly scented Lysol) that it was hard to get the smell out. Well I ordered delivery today and even the pudding in my drink tastes like disinfectant! I actually ordered the exact same drink from a different location yesterday and it did not taste like Lysol. Plus my drink from this location was made incorrectly. There was too much matcha and it was too sweet. I suggest going to other locations. The drink I got from the Gong Cha at GSP yesterday was much better and not full of cleaning/disinfecting chemicals.

The girl who works Sunday afternoon has no sense of kindness. I don't think they follow recipe. Taste of my Macha slush was more like ice and water. They don't even have napkins for customer. Owner needs to train people properly in professional manner.
