Latour is a Ridgewood treasure. 28 years! And going strong. We had a fabulous meal. The $55 prix fixe is a great deal. 4 generous courses of beautifully plated and delicious food.
Lovely French restaurant with many classics on the menu and some twists. Professional and warm service. Nancy and Dominick were super. The food is top notch. Special home made Napoleon dessert was a real treat. We will be back!
One of my favorite restaurants!! Everything was excellent! Chef always comes out and interacts with his customers, and has been doing that since the restaurant opened 28 years ago. Such a nice touch.. you really don't see that anymore!
Always a perfect meal, delicious food. it's our go to in Ridgewood checks all the boxes.
La Tour Never disappoints. Food is outstanding, the chef always stops by and makes customers feel welcome! The prix fix is 55.00 pp for a four course meal with full size servings! The short rib pappardelle was phenomenal and the best French onion soup ever! Truly a delightful delicious evening!
We just recently returned from a trip to Paris and we were craving French cuisine. Latour is our new go-to place !!! The escargot, cheese soufflé, French onion soup, filet mignon Wellington and duck was magnifique. We felt transported back to France and all while enjoying a cozy local byob right in the heart of Ridgewood. Look forward to our next visit.
Exquis et délicat! This french restaurant is delightful, has a great ambiance, and offers a cozy and warm place to have a delicious, light, and well prepared and served dinner.
Service was attentive and friendly.
Chef Latour is excellent and friendly. He goes by every table checking on his customers.
They offer certain days a prefix menu.
Merci!
The food was generally good, not excellent, we had the duck, beef wellington, lump crabmeat strudel, and cheese cake. We ate on a weekend so the Prix Fixe was not available. There is a charge of 3.5% if you use a credit card and BYOB which make the prices reasonable at $165 for two. The pleace is well designed and conversation across the table is possible. They do pipe in music, not really necessary. The wait staff is excellent and the Chef, Michael visits all table.. It is a cosy French resturant in a corner of the plaza, delighful.
Best restaurant I've been to in a long time and the Chef prepared the food masterfully
I had a delicious apricot glazed duck and she had boneless spare ribs on pappardelle pasta. Both very delicious.

Never disappoints. Always a special night out with outstanding food. A nice change from usual restaurants you find in the area.
It was good, I would go back anytime. I got the duck it was fantastic. I had one appetizer that was so so, but I enjoyed this place thoroughly.
We had an exceptional evening here. The restaurant was lovely and the food was phenomenal. The wait staff were all attentive and they were absolutely awesome about all my food allergies and had looked into every menu item before I came in so they could give me a full breakdown of what needed to be modified. The chef came out to the table for a visit and we noticed he did the same with the other tables. He was very nice and personable. It was a great experience.
Wow I didn’t expect such incredible French cuisine in a village!
As always, Latour exceeds expectations. Terrific menu, including the specials, extraordinary ingredients, expertly prepared and presented. Our favorites NJ restaurant!
