I can’t say enough great things about this place! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and beautifully designed. The staff went above and beyond—friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu.

The Maru Ceviche was out of this world—so flavorful, bright, and perfectly balanced. The specials were absolutely on point, each one showcasing the chef’s creativity and premium ingredients. And the otoro? Pure melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Honestly, this was the best sushi I’ve had in my entire life.
Every roll was unbelievably fresh and beautifully crafted, and the presentation was stunning. Nothing felt rushed, and each course felt thoughtful and intentional.

Oh my gosh the food was amazing. The atmosphere for a date night was a 10 out of 10. Such a gem in the neighborhood. The surf and turf hand roll was immaculate. Had the ex-wife roll and literally it was so many flavors at once I was surprised at the creativity. The host and serving staff were also very timely and very welcoming. We will definitely be coming again.

We have been to this local restaurant several times since Maru has opened. Recently my wife and I went for an early dinner and were very disappointed in the salmon sushi quality. We sat at the sushi bar and saw the chef give us older Tupperware salmon on a platter. The salmon was poor quality.We were hungry and didn’t complain . Check came and paid the full price they asked for and left. We will never go back to Maru again.

The prices have gotten so expensive, and the portions were bigger before but now they’re smaller, I paid $130 for 4 things with taxes. Won’t be coming back, just too expensive for no absolute reason

Wonderful staff, especially Sue and their sushi Chef! You cannot go wrong with their Omakase or their lunch specials, Sue makes great recommendations when we can’t decide on what to eat, always fresh sushi. They have this wonderful Birthday special buy one get one free!! Who wouldn’t want that!

Found this cute sushi spot to go on a date with my partner, and I will say, beyond impressed. The service was amazing. Staff are super friendly. Very homey and welcoming atmosphere. And the most important part, the food? PHENOMENAL, has you rolling your eyes to the back of your head every time you take a bite, phenomenal. Everything we ordered was so so fresh and delicious. Definitely the best sushi I’ve ever had
