Exceptional and authentic Vietnamese fare. Can't believe we've dined in so many restaurants in Nyack but somehow missed this one till recently! The ambiance feels like an antique shop, or a quaintly furnished cafe. Since we arrived a few minutes before they opened for lunch, we caught a glimpse of the owner/chef - a cheerful Vietnamese man - as he walked into the kitchen, while all the waiting staff were not Vietnamese. When we asked for fresh red chillies to go with our meal, our waiter told us that the owner would pop them like candies, while one small taste would cause him unbearable pain :-). We ordered vegetarian Mekong roll. The portion was pretty substantial - I can imagine myself getting full on that alone. Unfortunately there aren't many vegetarian choices, so I broke my diet and accepted the waiter's recommendation of garlic noodle, and gave half of the crawfish and shrimp to my husband. I loved the bouncy, chewing, flavorful flat noodles, while my husband enjoyed the grilled honey-glazed chicken platter. We'll definitely come back to try other dishes!

Solid Pho, with a really cool atmosphere. We ordered duck pho, combo pho and Mekong Roll.
Mekong Roll- Very good on flavor, a little small for the price but a nice starter. We added a bit of the Hoison to the peanut sauce which helped to add a bit of depth to the flavor.
Pho- very tasty and fresh. Portions were a bit small and we wish they gave us more in terms of fresh veg to go with the pho. The combo was a bit light on meat for our liking but flavors were there and quite enjoyable. Broth was the star of the show, and while we wish there were more of both proteins we enjoyed our meals.
Service- Servers were kind and checked in frequently but not too frequently.
Overall- we enjoyed our lunch very much, the environment was quiet and relaxed. It looks like a great happy hour spot as well, one we will definitely be checking out.
TLDR- Cool Atmosphere, Great Service, Tasty Food, Small Portions.

Recommended dishes: Mekong Roll with Tofu, Roasted Duck Pho, Combo Pho
As someone who truly loves pho, I was very disappointed with my experience here. The broth was overly salty and darker than expected, the beef brisket was quite tough and didn’t taste fresh, and the bowl lacked enough vegetables and herbs. I honestly don’t understand how this place received such high ratings. On top of that, there were some unexpected extra charges, which felt misleading. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant — it simply wasn’t worth the money or time.

My entire meal was perfection:
Lychee martini
Tofu banh mi
Beignets
Everything fresh, flavorful, made to order.
Friendly, prompt service.
If I lived in the area, I'd go there every week!

Best Vietnamese spot in the Hudson Valley. Best spot for a cocktail in Nyack and the beer tap wall is clutch.

Been here twice and they have great Vietnamese food! I tried to Bun Bo Hue my second time and it was favorite dish! Waitress was very attentive/pleasant. Definitely recommend!

We have been going to Mekong district almost weekly since they first opened. The food is great, the restaurant is charming and the servers are friendly and helpful. They make suggestions so that we can try new things. We are looking forward to our next visit!
This past Saturday, July 19, my mom, sister, my 12-year-old son, and my 6-year-old nephew had just come from a football tournament. Since we were in the area, we decided to stop at Mekong District — it was actually my mom’s first time trying pho, and we were excited to enjoy a meal together. Back in April, we left a Google review about a rude server who demanded a tip and confused us with another customer. This Saturday, instead of welcoming us, the waiter came up and told us we had to leave because of that review! When we asked to speak with the manager to address this, the manager refused to come out or even try to resolve the situation. I’ve never experienced anything so unprofessional — especially with kids present and my mom’s first time trying this kind of food. Please share this post so others know how this place treats paying customers. Would you go back to a restaurant that does this?
The wait staff and owners of this establishment are absolutely horrible very disrespectful. You have to seat yourself .A good 10 minutes wait before they to your table for drink orders and another 10 to get your drinks another 10-15 for them to come get your food order another 20 minutes to get your food . So unless you have an hour to hour an half to wait on food and drinks so be it.But then ended up in emergency room with food poisoning. They have to make these fake reviews because this establishment I give it 1 star it’s not even wheelchair accessible.

Always great food and great service. Staff is awesome. Super friendly. If anybody tells you different (especially people who walk into the restaurant and yell it out), they’re wrong.

This is the first place I have ever been to that charges you to split the bill... My buddy and I gave the waiter two credit cards and requested to split the bill evenly, but when we got our receipts we were surprised to see an additional charge of 7% added to them... That is on top of 20% gratuity that was added automatically. You would think that splitting the bill is part of the service that you are tipping for. What next, cleaning fee? Bathroom fee? Silverware fee? If you are reading this review, you should reconsider supporting the restaurant with such a shady business model.

Food was good,I think the beer lines either need to be cleaned or the kegs need to be kept colder as much of the beer was really foamy

Cool place to gather with friends to hang out in living room like little settings with couches, large comfy chairs, table games and a wall of beer and cider on tap. Have been here twice and both times it was a hit with friends.

I've been to this place several times, and the service has never been excellent, to say the least, but the food is fantastic, so I continue to go with my friends. I was there this past Sunday, and the young lady who served us did not even greet us and immediately came at us rudely, telling us to leave the restaurant if we did not want to tip her, which was unnecessary and uncalled for. This made the entire experience uncomfortable, and I couldn't wait to leave and not return.
