Menya Ramen House (Ridgewood)

If you're ever in Ridgewood, NJ you MUST go to Menya. Not only do they have the best ramen but the new sticky ribs are TO DIE FOR! The service is also top notch. You will never go wrong with Menya!

Ate here for both in the restaurant & takeout. Obviously, ramen is best eaten for dine in but they do a good job with take out. Flavor is still really tasty but it’s just not hot enough (which again is not necessarily their fault bc of the take out / time it takes to get home). Overall, really tasty ramen spot but for the price, I feel that the portions are a bit on the small side. So since I don’t want to drive all the way to Pal Park/Fort Lee, this place will do. Also, the staff is really friendly which is always a plus.

Menya Ramen is my favorite Ramen place in Bergen County NJ. The broth is so flavorfully crafted. I ordered the extra tofu which is homemade. It is delicious! It was served with precious saffron spice. This is Vegan ramen at its best! Yummy!!

Great & quick service, food was good

I’ve been a regular at Menya’s Metuchen location, so when I saw their Ridgewood branch pop up on Google Maps, I thought why not?

✨ The vegan ramen? It absolutely SLAPS. No exaggeration, this is hands down the best vegan ramen I’ve ever had. And I don’t say that lightly I take my ramen very seriously.

On top of that, Sylvia, who was handling the entire place by herself, was incredibly sweet and welcoming. Her warmth genuinely made my day. People like her are what make dining out feel special. Thank you, Sylvia! 💛

I’ll definitely be back whenever I’m in the area.

If you’re craving quality ramen, Menya is the real deal

From the moment we arrived, the staff seemed in a bad mood. Definitely not coming back.

We only had the vegan kimchi ramen (only Halal option) and the takoyaki. The ramen was very mid. The takoyaki was pretty good. The waitresses were super nice though, told us fun facts about the food and checked up on us. They also apologized for bringing the food late even though it was actually pretty fast. Nice seating, cool vibes. I wish they had more Halal options, though, as the vegan ramen wasn’t very good and I’m sure the other ones are better

I’m glad they opened another location closer to me. The service is always great! I like my ramen spicier than most and the servers always provide the extra spice I need. Really recommend if you’re looking for good ramen in the area! I also love they have a vegan option since there aren’t many ramen places that have a vegan option.

My daughter recommended the place, and I’m so glad she did. The Tonkotsu ramen was so rich and the pork was tender and full of flavor. My favorite was the Korean fried chicken which was perfectly crispy to my liking. Excited to try more dishes next time!

My go-to place whenever I crave ramen! I’ve been wanting more ramen now that the weather’s been getting colder and this place always hits the spot ???? The Spicy Kaisen was so tasty with the right amount of spice. I appreciated the server explaining the dish to me and they make their own tofu which was so cool to hear.

Definitely will be back with my friends!
