I've lived in 5 different cities (in 4 states) and I usually go to every persian restaurant around. I can tell you that this is a good one (and probably one of the best in the N. Jersey area). Kabob was good. Rice and appetizers all met our standards. I would definitely come back to Parisa Grill. The people working there are very nice and friendly. Also, make sure you take a walk in the beautiful (small) downtown (just outdoor)! There are lots of coffee/desserts options and some local shopping too.

Kashk badenjon: 10/10
kobideh: 10/10
chicken: 8/10 (compared to the kobideh)
barg: 9.5/10

Lamb chops and lamb shanks also looked nice/delicious. We'll try them next time!

Stop by. You won't regret.

Good food, horrible service! It took them 20 minutes to take our orders, then mixed up our order, took forever to serve the food, didn’t bring plates in time, and at the end took the food off the table while some of us were still eating.

Just got a call from the restaurant owner regarding the below review. He asked if I am ok. I asked from what aspect. His response: “I don’t know, you wrote to me an essay, are you alright“? I told him the review was not for him and I do not appreciate him patronizing me. His response: “you are harassing me, harassing my staff”. He did not have an explanation why he called me if I am “harassing”. He is aware I am sharing this experience as well.
I have been enjoying Persian food for over 35 years. This is the first time that I pushed my food away and stopped eating. The ceiling above our table was leaking. When I brought it to the attention of the man in charge, he was not surprised and did not apologize. We moved to another table. The ceiling was leaking on the table next to us. When pointing it one more time, the owner said: “it’s not my fault the building is like that…”. I ordered my favorite dish- jouje kebab. The dish came out under seasoned, burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. They offered a few options of rice but failed to mention it is an extra charge. The owner saw how unsatisfied I was but ignored. He did not think to take responsibility for the very poor maintenance, food (overpriced), and the overall bad experience.

Food was very average. Did not enjoy my kabab barg as expected. The bench I was sitting on was uncomfortable and overall I didn’t enjoy the experience nor the food.

A decent Persian restaurant which charges premium prices for their food

Everything was relatively average with good service and okay food; however, with the high end expensive price tags on the menu, I was expecting so much more.

At their competitor restaurant, Pardis, I feel I do get value for the price I pay but not here. The food is way overpriced considering the quality of the food.

The staff is so rude at this place. We were literally having our food when they started handing the boxes so we could pack our food. The restaurant closes at 10 and it was just 9:20 when they shut down the AC to kick us out. Upon confrontation, it was clear they didn’t care & wanted us to leave. No apologies whatsoever. Super rude staff and not welcoming at all. I do not recommend this place.
