Both owners and staff do an amazing job! The food is very good, delivery is always on time and they are always accomodating! Ridgewood Hot Bagels is my go to. They take pride in their store and it shows . They also give back to the community and are always willing to lend a helping hand. The baskets for holidays are great too and I highly recommend . You will not be disappointed !!

Ridgewood Hot Bagels has great options but most importantly, great people. For example; I lost my license about 2 weeks ago and yesterday the owner of Ridgewood Hot Bagels comes to my house and delivers it to me. That's service!! It doesn't hurt that they have the best chicken salad in Bergen County.

Ridgewood Hot Bagels is a wonderful addition to Ridgewood. The minute you enter their business they are working to exceed your expectations. The owners are very kind and always very supportive of the community. Ridgewood Hot Bagels is popular with adults and students alike, doing a great job of providing school lunches. Students often go there on the weekends as well to enjoy a meal sitting at their tables inside or outside. The menu offers a great variety of bagels (including specialty colors for holidays), sandwiches, decorated cookies, and coffees.

The lady who works the register in the front is down right rude! I placed an order and was told to sit down and wait. During that time she was training another employee how to work the cash register. Her main concern was greeting guests as they walked in the door and teaching her employee how to work the register. She did not let me know when my order was ready. Part of my order was ready within a reasonable time. I also ordered pancakes which took forever! When I asked if the pancakes were ready she told me soon. I saw her go check on them and then scold one of her employees. I witnessed how poorly she spoke to her employee at the time. The pancakes were being remade and she told me it would only be a little longer. When I got the pancakes she gave them to me with syrup and no butter. I had to go back up to the counter to ask for butter and a plate and was told they had no plates. Again she was more concerned about greeting the guests who were about to walk in and order. My daughter waited 25 min for one order of pancakes. Upon tasting the pancakes they didn’t taste right at all and almost tasted sour! When I brought it to her attention she was rude! Although she did refund me for the pancakes she needs to learn how to speak to guests and employees. As I was leaving I witnessed her again scolding her worked about the pancakes even though it was not his fault! I’m assuming this woman was the owner and it’s disgusting the way she treats paying customers and employees! Will not be visiting again!

Service is good. Portions wise is not the best for what you pay for. Also expensive for a basic bacon and egg on a bagel. Almost $9! The food is barely average.

We love this place. Incredibly friendly service and yummy food. An asset to the neighborhood.

The bagels are good but not good enough to deal with bad customer service. I ordered a bagel with chive cream cheese and wasn’t asked if I wanted it toasted or not. I didn’t specify either but when they gave me the bagel, I asked if was toasted and they responded with a blunt “no you didn’t say toasted”. And when I asked if they could toast it they said they couldn’t and it was too late. The front cashier person (who I believe is also the manager) was also rude in moments and didn’t seem to care about what was happening. So, I won’t be coming back. Hope it was worth the 75 cents it would have cost to remake the bagel. Please be kind to ALL of your customers. They’re the reason you’re still in business.
