My favorite spot in Ridgewood. The staff here are outstanding and so nice. This is the first place I've had birria tacos and I haven't had them as good anywhere else. Chips aren't overly salty, the rice is always cooked perfectly, and everything tastes fresh.

Absolutely amazing! I moved to Bergen County in the last couple of years and have yet to discover a better joint for Mexican food! Maybe only in Passaic County where it’s a bit more diverse. Their Birria tacos are killer, as comparable or even better than the ones found in Jalisco, MX (the birthplace of these tacos)… So much flavor as they should be. Hell, it’s even better than Birria tacos down in Newark. 1000% better than the fake Mexican joints in Dumont/Bergenfield!!! My search for perfect Birria tacos is over. Thank you, Sombrero, I’m impressed and I shall be back for more.
P.S. The loaded nachos with steak is equally good.

In my genuine opinion, the tacos are honestly such a lazy presentation. I give 2 stars to the food because the meat itself it’s good BUT the tortilla isn’t even heat up properly, it got super soggy right away, what type of tacos come with pico but no onions & cilantro? I feel like those are the basic items to assemble a taco the right way. I love the birria tacos & that’s why I decided to try new tacos but honestly not worth it. The staff & environment are great !
