Wow, and that is pretty much all I have to say. First time stopping in with the family and friends after dinner at Park West Tavern (see my review for that dinner) This is a must stop to fulfill your sweet tooth obsession! Take it from me, a big guy who occasionally likes his sweets.

Quality!!!! I don't care price when eating, or any treatment for my body, I just need quality. Bothers me when I pay for something and don't have result. Some times there's no return like surgeries. I'm happy no need to go to NY for French bakeries!!!, I live in Jersey and only have 2 places to get good dinner, or lunch, which is Capital Grill, expensive? yes !!!! cause others restaurant sucks, for dessert Sook expensive ? yess!! no body gone give you quality for less. I would never care how much they charge, as long they keep quality. People complaining, go around and see if there's something better. I'm from Ny and hate no to see quality in restaurants in jersey.

I love everything about this place, from the authentic croissants to the crepes to the amazing pastries. Their Paris Brest might be the best bakery treat I've ever eaten - decadent yet light and bursting with flavor. It's not a large cafe and can get very crowded. But the ambiance is lively and bustling - a true testament to their delicious fare.

Really nice bakery with some really good treats. Whenever we are in the area we make it a point to get some treats and coffee. Definitely recommend!

These pastries are some of the best in the area - even than in NYC! The brioches are a must try and the coffee is quite good as well. The one downside is that it's quite tiny and there's not much room to wait for your order, so pack your patience if you go during a busy time.

This pastry shop offers a variety of tasty options such as chocolate almond croissants, fruit tarte, and good coffee. Waitstaff is friendly.

A delicious bakery with fresh and high-quality ingredients. However, the cleanliness of the establishment could be improved, which is why I'm not giving it 5

while the cookies and pastries and macarons are delicious, the customer service from both the inexperienced kids working behind the counter - and the management/ownership - make it difficult to return. you don't feel welcome and treated like a value customer. it's busy and successful enough without your business, so for that reason, i will not give them my business. I'd rather go somewhere else. disappointing.

After doing a long run near by, I decided to treat myself to a breakfast as Sook Pastry. I can definitely see the potential for this place to be packed on the weekend--so many delicious offerings! I had a latte and their duck fat bacon, egg and Gruyère sandwich on a croissant. Oh my word, this hit the spot! The bacon was especially crispy and the croissant was simply divine. I decided to bring home a chocolate almond croissant for the next morning. Slightly disappointed that I was given an almond croissant instead (which was terrific), but I suppose it's a good reason to go back and try some more amazing baked goods.

A family favorite, when we first moved into the neighborhood we went almost every week. What impress me was the cakes.. delicious! Also, one of the few bakeries I have been to, that the owner / chef is onsite making your order. Especially when ordering crepes

Excellent coffee and soups, great food, charming and cozy ambience, service, and good old jazz tunes in the air. . . My go to for years on end and always encourage others to experience this spot . . .

Sook Pastry's ordinary taste disappointed, and the customer service fell short of Ridgewood standards. During my visit, a staff member handled desserts without gloves or tongs, compromising hygiene. The pervasive odor in the place suggests a lack of understanding of air conditioning. Improvement is crucial for a more satisfactory experience.

It was terribly freezing outside, so we ran into a bakery. As soon as we walked in, the smell smacked us right in the face, much to our delight! It's an interesting two-part café because they're connected but you can't walk through it you have to walk outside and back inside to get from once to the other. It was particularly busy that day, mostly probably because it was cold, but I believe they have good business in general, judging by their desserts. Overall a cute café and I would totally come back.

Me and my husband just happened to stumble upon this place while going for a stroll after dinner and let me tell you I'm so glad we went in! We were immediately hit with a wonderful aroma of coffee once we stepped in, the vibes in this place were on point! They have THE BEST hot chocolate! Seriously the hot chocolate tasted so sophisticated, not too sweet but just the right amount and the cocoa flavor was very deep! The coffee was also very good, the cakes we ordered were also quite delicious! And staff was very friendly and more than happy to answer questions in regards to their pastries. Would definitely come here again for dessert!
