One of the best all you can eat sushi restaurants around. Definitely in my top two! The staff are always so kind and the food is fresh

Great place for unlimited sushi and appetizers, sushi quality is great for a all you can eat. Small place atmosphere is great but make sure you’re okay with loud environments.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst service ever! We have just dined here at 4:30 PM today on Dec 1. We walked in and immediately the server starts asking our order. We had yet to even sit down and look at the menu. Once we sat down we noticed the small circular dish for soy sauce had crab meat residue! It was very unappetizing and we were inclined to leave. The place was empty and was not near closing so I’m unsure of the rush. We received our order and I have never seen sushi look the way it looked. The nori was old the rice was bare and the filling was atrocious. They just lost a customer that has been dining here for years. On top of all that the waitress with glasses gave us a bad attitude as we left. Left with a bad taste in my mouth in more ways than one.

Terrible customer service. The other reviews were right. The waiter gave me too much attitude. Maybe because I’m a foreigner but I don’t know.

Worst experience ever as we always come to suchiX from Massachusetts all the way because we use to love their food.
We came today Monday 08/26 lunch time and it was the worst experience ever
First we waited 38 min for the food although it was not busy Monday Lunch time
Second the 16’ tray we ordered looked horrible the Sashimi tasted old not fresh at all and the roles tasted like MOLD
THE RICE IS MOLDY
Be Aware of this Suchi place and in the end they Added a Service fee( 18% tips) without even asking us maybe we want to give more or less.
Very very bad experience too bad we use to like this place

Great food great service great options. My only gripe would be get there early because seating is limited and it get packed. This is your standard all you can eat with the paper sheets sushi spot. Located in ridgewood. Good location pay for parking. Fish was fresh. Be aware when ordering a lot of rolls they may miss one or two from your order. Otherwise great experience and worth the price.

The food was great, I really enjoyed the sushi, but the server was rude. We had ordered all you can eat sushi, and I had asked for the check with a few pieces of sushi left. The server gave me a dirty and was very passive-aggressive over us, not finishing the sushi. We were not even done eating yet, and we ended up finishing the sushi. I had just asked for the check since I wanted to pay ahead of time since the restaurant was closing soon. The server remained passive-aggressive and continued to give me dirty looks as we exited the restaurant. I won't be returning.

The people here are so rude. The first time I went to pick up food one of the waiter address me “sir” until I ignored her and she said “ma’am” Ntn about me screams “sir.” The second time I went 3 waiters ignored me while waiting for my pickup, didn’t even ask if I need help or a simple greeting. They are very rude and unprofessional and they will make you feel unwelcome.

After the great All-you-can-eat-seafood apocalypse, we can officially crown Sushi X as the last man standing. A few short years ago there were still many pretenders to the throne. The post-covid landscape is now littered with their corpses for in the end THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE.
You see, it takes huge volumes to sustain this business model. Sushi X's location looks small from the outside, but the lot runs deep into the back, and the amount of seating is actually rather impressive. The price at 32 dollars per adult on week nights is not exactly cheap, but it's definitely the best deal you can get for this kind of establishment.
AS for what you're getting for the money, let me just say that it's remarkably consistent. I've never received anything terrible from their kitchen, the quality ranging from good to at least passable. Considering the huge menu, which I have sampled from liberally, this is a remarkable accomplishment. The quality of the fish, for instance, is not bad. Some of the rolls can sort of fall apart when you try to dip them, but the rice is good. Rice is important in sushi. It's all about the mouth feel. The wasabi is high quality too.
Miso soup: standard. Yakitori: a little tough, but flavorful. Seaweed salad: standard. Gyoza: not bad. Edamame: the great thing about edamame, so simple it cant' be messed up. The red bean and/or green tea ice cream at the end is a constant temptation, though I've given up most sweets to protect my teeth.
I have not tried absolutely everything, the Udon for example, but I feel confident that management knows what they're doing. If they can't achieve at least a certain level of quality, they'll eliminate it from the offering, which is precisely the right thing to do.
Service: not going to lie, it's no frills. They talk to you once to ask if you want a drink and give you the ordering menu. They come back to give you the drinks and pickup the menu. Then they bring you your food without hardly making eye contact again. The service is not exactly solicitous, but it is minimal and efficient.
Considering the almost military precision of this operation, it's factory like scale, the atmosphere still manages a pretty calm, relaxed vibe.

Got charged an all you can eat. It’s 70 dollars not including tip for two people. Waitress brought us the bill even though we didn’t ask, she promptly tried to get us out even though my guest wanted one more scoop of ice cream( we ordered in the middle of getting the check, the waitress barely gave us a scoop, we’re paying 70 dollars all you can eat btw) and argues with me and my guest that we “paid already” when all we wanted was one more scoop of ice cream before we were forced to leave (we weren’t even there for longer than an hour) absolutely terrible service with outrageous prices for sushi and ice cream that is at most, average. There’s other sushi places in town, support those. Not these guys. I feel bad for the chefs here cause the service does them terrible justice. Won’t ever be coming here and will joke about this with my friends in town
