Food-wise I will always give Sushi X 5 stars. Their sushi is always fresh and the DINE IN customer service is always great. But I cannot give 5 stars for the customer service when not dining in. I always enjoy their All You Can Eat option but I am never ordering takeout from here ever again.I ordered takeout via GrubHub and was informed via notifications that the order would be ready in 30 minutes. I waited 40 minutes as I know some pick up times (especially on the weekends) can be poorly estimated. I waited over AN HOUR AND A HALF, in addition to the 40 minutes, for my pickup order to be ready. They were so backed up with pickup orders that myself and 10 other customers waited an extensive amount of time for our pickups because Sushi X did not handle their order queue properly. I was constantly told 10-15 minutes without even being asked for my name or my order.I understand it was during dinner rush on a Friday night and there could be a number of internal issues I am not aware of, however, having worked in the restaurant business for years, there is a much better and more efficient way to handle dine in and take out orders during the dinner rush. For example, the GrubHub app allows restaurants to set the wait time...this could have been the first solution to spread out the order queue.I will continue to give them my business but only for dine in/All You Can Eat; NEVER AGAIN will I order takeout from there until they figure out how to manage their order queue more efficiently.

Stale tasteless food. Messed up my stomach completely.It is mandatory that everyone on the table get unlimited food for 30$ if one person goes for it & honestly while being an Asian I understand why they would have this rule, I don’t think it’s fair to impose this on everyone. Wish I had known this before going in.
The sushi here is incredible, I wouldn’t go anywhere else for sushi. The service is mostly quick to get the food out to you. My main issue is the customer service is not the best. They can come off rude at times but has recently gotten much better. The place is small and would be better if expanded.
This place is my go to sushi spot. I always dine in and do all you can eat which can be a little pricey but worth it in my opinion. It’s about $30 or a little more per person.I love the firecracker roll, dragon roll, and most of their other rolls. Their chicken teriyaki and gyozas are good too.Their service is good and has been a lot better more recently. I have been coming here for a while and the service was not so great for a while but the past year it has definitely picked up and gotten better.At night this place becomes PACKED and difficult to get a seat at times. You can make reservations too. But I do think this spot should expand as it is really small.
