I've been coming here for years and this place is always on point! One of the best local ramen spots in my opinion and VERY affordable for what you get! The staff are always very kind and attentive, and the service is pretty quick depending on how crowded it is. I just wish they stayed open later than 9pm on weekends! I pride myself a ramen aficionado, having been eating it frequently for my entire life. From traveling Japan to living in NJ, I have been very critical and keen to only consume ramen “worthy” of my palate. Tori Ramen is by far the best ramen in state of NJ, both in terms of quality and value. You genuinely cannot beat what you get here.
When you specifically ask for an ingredient not to be in a dish, is the way it should be brought to the table. Nope not this time. I told the waitress, who repeated my instructions on removing that item from the dish. She brought the dish back to kitchen...they picked out the ingredient and she brought it back served it to me cold. Very kind and thoughtful, as if I wouldn't know! Glad no allergic reaction!! Very poor concern for patrons!😕
