Love the duck. So juicy and flavorful.Tuna tartar is very fresh and full of flavor.Pork chop is great as well. But wishing the bread should served warm not cold

Chef Kevin always impresses with fresh cuisine. It's so fun to go and taste his seasonal menu. Everything is inventive, fun, and savory. A must try. This has been our go to for many years. It's consistent with great service.

Was a little disappointed in our first visit back in quite a few years. Just wasn't quite the experience expected of this high-end restaurant. Cauliflower appetizer a bit too sweet and over sauced. Crabcake was the finely shredded lower-quality claw meat versus lump crab and not crisp on the outside. Dessert was very nice...the caramel tart with raspberry sauce but the description didn't mention the chocolate ingredient which would have been good to know. The waiter was lovely though.

One the best if not the best restaurant in Bergen County. The cauliflower appetizer is outstanding. I had the sole veronique. Perfectly cooked and incredible. My wife had the chicken Milanese and the chicken moist, not greasy in the least . Definitely recommend it.

Always a wonderful and romantic place to dine! All aspects of the experience are a credit to the restaurant The menu is very varied and everything we have had has been beautifully prepared and presented and delicious. They accept reservations and it is BYOB

Village Green is a lovely restaurant with well spaced tables, and deliciously prepared American/continental food using the highest quality ingredients. They properly celebrated my husband‘s birthday as well by putting a candle in his dessert. Some restaurants forget to do it. Our only tweaks would be a staff that is slightly more polished to be more in line with the pricing and dining style, and the chef should do a walk around the dining room to meet folks. In addition restaurants at this price point usually do an amuse Bouche Or gourmandises with coffee which would be a nice touch. My suggestion would be to reduce the portion sizes which are extremely large, and put the budget into that instead as it's more memorable. Our short ribs, sole Veronique, and chicken Milanese were very yummy. Appetizers were fine although I think the crabcake would be better with a remoulade sauce instead of the tomato or pepper concasse it was served with. Desserts were fine with the apple cake being the best. It's lovely, but it could be so much more.

Always a winner, this restaurant is definitely worth your time and money to enjoy a delicious meal with good service. BYOB also keeps the price down. The menu changes periodically and there are also specials. The ambiance is simple, with wood floors, and white tableclothes. Overall, delicious food and a Ridgewood gem!

My Wife and I had an excellent evening here. The menu was creative and service excellent. Both of our meals were seasoned and cooked beautifully and dessert was delightful.

One of the best meals I have had. We started with the Peking Duck Tacos and Bang Bang Cauliflower and for my entree I had the Grilled Skirt Steak. It was so flavorful and cooked to perfection. Outstanding

Lovely evening at Village Green! We were seated immediately and comfortably. The service was prompt and accomodating. The food selections were amazing! The peach bruscheta was not the usual presentation but delicious! The duck tacos, juicy and aromatically spiced. Our mains were all delicious..my Sesame Ginger Grouper melted in my mouth. I asked for the sauce on the side, which they did, because I'm sensitive to vinegar and I hardly needed any sauce at all, it was so delicious! The veggies fresh and crunchy - cooked just right! We hadn't been to Village Green in a while but we won't wait so long next time!

people judged me and my family for being ourselves. the atmosphere was depressing. whispering to talk unlike a NORMAL restaurant. the service was slow, the guy tries his hardest. the food was undercooked as the meet of my salmon was pink not red as my father is a chef he didn’t accept it. waste of money with a trash service, and trash food. in the nicest way possible this ruined my day and don’t be expecting me or my family in this restaurant again.

It was bad enough when Kevin that unbelievable owner and chef of the village green introduced his lobster Mac and cheese as an appetizer. The gruyere he uses is just amazing. But what does he do now? He puts that dish on as an entree! Now how am I supposed to get anything other than that while it sit there! As always, amazing dining experience, brandi always makes sure things are perfect and outstanding service from Melissa and the food of course top of the food chain!

The Village Green is just wonderful. I love eating there and was delighted there were so many dairy free options. The atmosphere was calm and quiet and the food delicious. The best!
