My wife and I are on the #eatjersey challenge to visit and have a meal in all 564 towns of NJ. We chose the Amwell Valley Diner for West Amwell, our 154th town.
This is a classic Jersey diner where they bake all their desserts on premises. We enjoyed a quick bite to eat for a light dinner. Pastrami sandwich & Eggplant Mousaka with salad. Good service and reasonable prices.

Amwell Diner is a great place to take your family to. The food is good, the portions are great. The homemade deserts are great. All there is friendly and very nice. The waitresses/ waiters are all great. Judy 1 of the waitresses is especially awesome.

If you are in the area, this is a perfect spot for very good food and exceptional service. We stopped on our way to and back from Kent Island. Breakfast was fresh, hot, and fast on the way down. Lunch on the way home was delicious - hot turkey, mashed, broccoli, cole slaw, cranberry sauce. Great chicken noodle soup and Manhattan clam chowder. The service is friendly and professional. It is definitely a family place, and they make you feel like instant family. And it is immaculately clean. Well done, folks. God bless and keep up the excellent service.
