I got a take-out lunch after a hike in the area. The fish sandwich with tartar sauce was very good (and very obviously made in-house with care), and their cucumber salad was the perfect side dish. I had fun browsing the shelves of products while I waited, and even picked up some German-made Nivea cream (the best!). Danke!

Was excited to try this place after reading reviews and passing by several times. I ordered a total of three sandwiches, there were two additional people ahead of me, one person who ordered to sit down, and one person who phoned in an order. That’s a total of 6 sandwiches, at maximum, I waited for 20 min before they even started on my order, I had to leave because I couldn’t wait any longer, this was 9am on a Saturday. They offered refund but I honestly couldn’t wait any longer as it was, I figured a couple minutes meant 5-10, I would strongly suggest calling ahead or having plenty of time to hang out at the store while they prep your food. The gentleman waiting to sit down and eat had been there since before I had arrived, it was generally an interesting experience. Two stars because they were all very nice and it’s an interesting store.

Came here after paddling on Monksville Reservoir. It was the perfect place to come after that. 5 of us had different german specialities and loved them all. Wish it was closer to my home. Had some specialties I can't get anywhere else anymore.

Been coming here forever for their midnights, which are the best Taylor ham, egg, and cheese sandwiches in the state.

Good veal loaf. Very good selection of German sweets and other imported products but those are a bit on the expensive side. Don’t take cards, cash only.

My mother was born in Germany. She loved this store sooo much! They have authentic German food! Also, it reminds me of my mom.

We drove quite a distance to get here. It was well worth it. The German husband and wife team were adorable. The prices were good and we spent over $140. Everything we ordered was very authentic and tastefully fresh. Try the German potato salad. It's fabulous.

They have a great selection of everything German! If you are looking for Tea wurst, Stollen, and everything else a German Deli could offer!

This establishment......is stuck in the......70s? And that's how I like it. Charming wood paneling. German grocery section - grab some great chocolate at Christmas time. Also there is herring. I'm a big herring guy so it's nice to buy something home made every once and again. The standout is the sandwich. Freikadellan, Sausage and peppers. You name it, the special is what I order.Next time I'm getting some potato salad.

Stopped in for a breakfast sandwich. Ordered a sausage egg and cheese. Expected the standard bulk breakfast patty. Instead I got some fantastic link sausage that, if this place was near my home, would make it my everyday breakfast stop, without a doubt.

Authentic German cuisine. Everything is excellent. I especially like the fricadele, fish, and potato salad. All freshly made.
