They have a great selection of gourmet pizzas too. The online system is also super convenient and the delivery is always fast and the driver friendly. “Raku Sushi in Ringwood is easily one of the hidden gems of North Jersey. I have been to a lot of sushi restaurants over the years, and this place consistently delivers some of the freshest, most delicious food and friendliest service around. Every time I walk through the door, I feel welcomed and appreciated, and that kind of experience is hard to find these days.

The quality of the sushi is outstanding. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, and you can tell that a lot of care goes into every roll and every dish that comes out of the kitchen. The specialty rolls are creative, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. No matter what I order, I am always impressed. The fish is fresh, the rice is perfectly prepared, and the portions are generous.

What really makes Raku stand out is the consistency. Whether you’re dining in, picking up takeout, or ordering for a family dinner, the food is always excellent. There are very few places where you know exactly what you’re getting every single time, and Raku has maintained that high standard year after year.

The atmosphere is cozy, clean, and relaxing, making it a perfect spot for a casual lunch, a dinner with family, or even a date night. The staff is always polite, attentive, and genuinely kind. They go out of their way to make sure customers are happy, and you can tell they truly care about the people who come through their doors.

As someone from the area, I can honestly say that Ringwood is lucky to have a restaurant like this. Raku has become a staple in the community, and it is one of those places that keeps people coming back again and again. If you’re a sushi lover, or even if you’re trying sushi for the first time, this is the place to go.

Five stars simply aren’t enough. Raku Sushi has earned its reputation through incredible food, outstanding service, and years of consistency. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic, fresh, and delicious Japanese cuisine. “Happened to be in the area and was craving some classic Chinese takeout. I usually frequent other purely vegetarian Chinese restaurants, but saw that Spring Restaurant had a vegetarian menu with mock meat options, so I had to come and check it out. I arrived and parking was extremely convenient, went in, and it was just a nice cozy vibe in there. Family owned restaurant, extremely lively daughter working the counter, with an equally kind and wonderful father cooking the most delicious vegetarian general tso's chicken that i've ever had. I asked just for a simple cut of hot chili oil, and was given what is apparently a homemade fermented chili oil, which was unlike any chili oil I'd eaten before. The mock meat noodles were also delicious, would highly recommend both dishes! I'm sure the regular meat would be great too as the sauce was the star of the show! The customer service was impeccable, the family was welcoming and kind, and most importantly, the food was to die for! Highly recommend for anyone in the area, you won't regret it!”

“First time stopping in. The food was great. And the price was very reasonable. The place has great atmosphere, clean & so much to choose from. Staff was super friendly. Especially Brooks, who went above & beyond helping us try decide what to order. I'm not kidding when I say everything looked so good. He kindly gave different suggestions. He took time to explain different options, what they were and how they were made. Any questions or requests we had were met with nothing but kind responses. Will definitely be back!”

“It’s a nice place with a welcoming atmosphere. Even on a weekday evening, the tables filled up quickly, which says a lot about its popularity.

I was surprised that the bread wasn’t complimentary, but the soft, delicious butter made it well worth the price. The food was very good, and the service was friendly and attentive.

It’s a BYOB restaurant, and if you don’t bring your own, you can have wine delivered from a nearby wine shop with no delivery fee, which is a nice convenience. Overall, I had a great dining experience and would definitely come back.”

“Without question THE BEST INDIAN FOOD around. Better than any Indian place I've eaten at in Manhattan on Lex/Curry Hill. The Gobi Manchurian incredible, the Mushroom Dry Fry appetizer incredible, Incredible. Tandoori chicken for $18, was like 6 nice delicious pieces of chicken. My veg entree Aloo Palak was yummy, I just ate the rest for lunch now. Get the green mint sauce on the side, it's so good. The owner is so sweet, I'm a grouch, but she always makes me smile. Thank you.

P.S. I was literally sitting next to the family that left a one star review 14 hours ago. The guy was literally complaining to the owner the entire time. She was very polite and said don't worry, she will take care of it and offered him something. Honestly the portions are generous and the prices are not high. The Tandoori chicken is like $18. Frankly that's cheap. Seems like that guy was trying to feed a family of 4 with one entree or something. Shame on him. Read all the other 5 stars reviews.

“If there were more stars, I'd give them. We are from out of state (formerly from Waldwick) and needed to send a brunch catering to a dear family. Bagel Supreme was professional, sweet, considerate and kind. I called on a Sunday afternoon at 1 PM (about an hour before the store closed) and the owner had his wife call "within the hour." She did and spent time with me on the phone getting the right order to fit my request for the family. Then sent multiple texts to confirm everything throughout the evening. Talk about going ABOVE AND BEYOND! They delivered PROMPTLY as promised the next day and they sent us pictures of the platters to ensure that we saw what was delivered. Greeting cards to mark the occasion with our thoughts HAND WRITTEN were attached. The store would NOT take money until the order was delivered even though I offered to pay in advance. I will absolutely use them in the future for long distance gift giving (who doesn't like food as a gift)? And this will be our very first stop when we are back in town. 1,000% recommend!!!”

Should have posted this a couple of weeks ago to let everyone know what an absolutely beautiful job they did with the delicious Woodland Creatures 1/2 sheet cake for my daughter’s baby shower! Wow! It was so moist and tasty, received so many compliments from the ladies. And you know we ladies love our cakes! The decorator created an over-the-top adorable woodland creatures design. Even the gluten free cupcakes were tasty and gorgeous. Kudos to the entire staff and owner. Everyone was so helpful and lovely. Would highly recommend this bakery when you want the best! “Tonight I had the pleasure to dine at Bici restaurant in Ramsey, NJ. From the minute I walked in, I knew I was going to like it! You are greeted in such a warm and friendly manner. One of the owners, Marcello makes his rounds around the room speaking to his customers and making you feel at home. Everything I ordered was delicious and the waiters are so polite and attentive. Pleasant atmosphere and I will be back again. Thank you staff for your hospitality. It’s a BYOB. It’s a small restaurant with outdoor dining. Definitely 5 stars!!!!!”

“Stefan the new chef has a wonderful restaurant here with fantastic delicacies to choose from. Standouts are his Tuna sushi on rice cakes with caviar. Amazing. Also the steak frites with truffle fries and the tuna carpaccio...just wow. Stefan also had a delicious tapas served as appetizers a few weeks ago with anchovies and other types of seafood served on toasted baguettes. He is friendly and engaging and a great addition to the Ho-Ho-Kus dining scene. Bought St Eves from the previous owners about 2 years ago. Go and Enjoy!”
