“After wandering the beautiful Ringwood manor property I had a craving for Buffalo chicken wrap. We saw the rating of Characters and walked in. It was St Patrick’s day. The bagpiper was entertaining and it was full. Yet the servers were gracious and caring and patient l. We couldn’t get our Buffalo wrap as it was a special menu but we enjoyed the thin crust, most delicious Buffalo chicken pizza. The bread was warm and soft. We had a lovely evening. Try this place.”

“After hiking in Harriman State Park, our go-to spot for dinner is always Rhodes North Tavern, where we almost always indulge in their cheeseburgers. During our visit about a month ago, we stuck to our routine and ordered our cheeseburgers medium rare, accompanied by a side of French fries. To our satisfaction, our order was spot-on!The cheeseburgers were cooked impeccably, boasting a delightful pink and juicy interior. Admittedly, they leaned a tad towards medium, but hey, that's why we opt for medium rare, right? ;)However, the French fries didn't quite hit the mark. They had an odd taste, almost like they were sprinkled with something resembling sand. It was a bit disappointing considering how well the burgers were prepared.On a previous occasion, my husband decided to deviate from our cheeseburger tradition and opted for the ribeye steak, while I settled for the half-roasted chicken, as I wasn't feeling like having red meat that day. Unfortunately, neither of our dishes lived up to expectations. My husband's steak, despite being cooked to his liking, was disappointingly tough and sinewy. It was quite a challenge to eat. My chicken, ordered plain without any sauces, had an unusual yellow color and an off-putting taste. Initially, I suspected it might not have been fresh, but it's possible that it was due to some spices or seasoning that didn't agree with my palate. I managed to eat some of it, but it wasn't an enjoyable experience, so I ended up mainly sticking to the mashed potatoes.Despite the less-than-stellar experience with non-burger dishes, Rhodes North Tavern remains a top choice for burger enthusiasts. The service is consistently excellent, and the ambiance of the restaurant is quite pleasant. Overall, I still recommend giving this place a try, especially if you're in the mood for a delicious burger!”

“What an excellent idea! You can get fresh cut meats to your table that contains an electric wok and stir fry it at the table. It smells so good and I don’t eat meat. I had the delicious sushi. Come here for a different experience. Your taste buds and your sense of smell will love you for it. The staff is very attentive and insures you are having a great experience. It's $30, $40 or $50 per person for all you can eat packages. Some are all meat, some sushi, some contain both. Enjoy!”

“The delectable menu offered a range of top quality foods, from generic steaks to exquisite salads, the menu was a step above most eateries. There was ample wait staff, the service was top notch. Very little wait time. Our medium rare steak was the right amount of medium and the right amount of rare. The cauliflower soup was bursting with flavor as was the tuna tartar. Overall it was an excellent experience & the "tasting menu" was excellent bang for the buck.”

The service from the staff, the presentation and taste of the food, the casual relaxed atmosphere and most importantly, the reasonable prices for the experience simply can't be beat. It's quite the formal place but it also has a warm, relaxing feel to it. We decided to have steak for dinner, and it was such a beautiful cut of meat and cooked to perfection. The dessert was wonderful so creamy and rich tasting cheesecake. Even the coffee we had after dinner had a wonderful rich taste to it was just such a great place to go. It is on the pricey side but I think every once in a while you deserve to have an expensive meal. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.”

“Came here for a large company event.Pre event communication was easy and they went out of the way to be helpful.On the day of the actual event we walked into a beautifully set up party room and were greeted by the owner.From the bread to the appetizers and all the way through desert everything was delicious.I specifically would like to recommend the Adobo Short Rib.Drinks were creative and delicious as well.Waiters were very nice and helpful.Very expensive but I wasn’t paying so that didn’t bother me.Definitely recommend for an event or just a night out.”

“My husband picked up takeout tonight and it was delicious! Portion sizes are huge. My Greek salad with chicken was expensive $28 but so worth it! It had arugula, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, red bell peppers, 1 grape leaf, shredded feta and olive oil seasoned dressing. My husband got lamb and rice (rice has chickpeas). The owners and service are all very nice ,the menu is large with so many different choices and the food is all very good and all at very reasonable prices!!!I would say it's in the middle of a diner and upscale restaurant...we do dine in and take out often for breakfast, lunch and dinner!!”
