Loved the place but paid $8.99 for a bag of pancake mix to find live weevils and larvae inside. I peeled the bottom of the bag apart and all the creases were lined with baby weevils wriggling around 🤮 Never had this issue anywhere else- makes sense given the dusty country store shelves and building in hindsight. The best spot after a winter hike in Harriman. Got a fresh baked banana cream pie for the family and a black and white cookie. Such a wonderful assortment of items and staff was very friendly. My favorite was saying hi to the gentle giant Goliath who is the sweetest doggo. Will definitely be back!
