The closest Korean Fried Chicken place near my house that is always delicious. If you live in Bergen County towards Route 17, there is no need to go all the way to Fort Lee/Palisades Park to satisfy your Korean fried chicken craving. The wings have a sweeter flavor compared to typical southern style chicken but if you get the spiciest option; make sure to have water ready. I recommend trying the snowing cheese french fries too while you are there.
We went to Don Chicken today for the first time and are we glad to have found this place! We got the plain wings and snow (cheese) wings, as well as the tonkatsu and ramen. Everything was amazing - the pickled radish was beautiful and crunchy, the accompanying soup and slaw were spot on. The ramen was ok (I personally don't like chicken ramen but it was mind-blowing). The chicken wings were crispy and full of flavor. This is a well hidden gem of a restaurant!!! Must go.EDIT April...read full review
