Atmosphere is 10 stars when DJ Alex is in residence. He keeps the party going, adjusting to the crowds preferences and doing an excellent job mixing up old, new and worldly to keep everyone on the dance floor. It was very sad without him for a while.
Food is always abundant and good. Kompot is the best. Kamilla and the rest of the staff is amazing too.

We stumbled upon Old Bukhara on a Saturday without a reservation and had never tried Uzbek food before. Glad we took the chance. The Samarkand plov was hearty and full of flavor, and the tashkent tea was a lovely way to round out the meal. The cuisine has a warmth and depth to it that we weren’t expecting, and it left us wanting to come back and work through more of the menu.
A couple of things held it back from a full five stars. Because we were walk-ins on a busy Saturday, we were seated in the basement rather than the main dining room, which lacks the atmosphere of the space upstairs. Understandable, but worth knowing if you’re planning a special outing. More importantly, the servers weren’t particularly helpful in guiding us through the menu. When you’re completely new to a cuisine, a little guidance goes a long way, and we mostly had to figure things out on our own.
Still, the food more than carried the evening. Worth making a reservation and going back with more people so you can try a wider spread.

I went out for a special dinner. However, the restaurant had table tennis and billiards tables. More importantly, you're at a special dinner and a tennis ball is falling onto your table every minute. Despite reporting this to the restaurant, they didn't fix it. Also, a lot of kids were playing tennis and balls were constantly falling onto your table. The dining tables were next to the table tennis tables; the atmosphere was awful. I didn't feel like I was at a special dinner at all; it felt more like I was in an amusement park.

We celebrated a birthday here and had a really fun night with lots of dancing. We were among the last people to leave, and unfortunately I later realized I had left my birthday gifts under the table. I reached out to management, but was told nothing had been found. I was surprised that no offer was made to check cameras or follow up further, especially given the timing. It’s unfortunate this happened, as it put a damper on an otherwise enjoyable experience.

Great food. Reasonable Prices. Service needs a little bit of improvement. Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday. Happened to be on Wednesday night. Place wasn't packed but there were some customers there. So the restaurant is not much for decor IMHO but has excellent food. Even on Wednesday night. Chuchvara, Lagman, Shurpa, Achik-Chuchuk, Various Kebabs, Beef Tongue, and most importantly Cheburek. The only dish that can go wrong like a puffer fish. Underdo it and it's inedible, overdo it the same, wrong oil or too much oil and your customers will run screaming for the hills. This was actually done so well we went for seconds, light and crispy on the outside and nice and juicy inside. I'm drooling just writing about it.... A great place to visit, service on the slow night could've been a little better but I can't really complain.

Went with my wife for dinner and had an amazing experience. The food was out of this world delicious. The service was great. The atmosphere was amazing. They had a singer and later on a DJ playing all types of music (all good songs). I would definitely recommend this restaurant. We had a great time and will go back again soon.

Food is good but not as good as in the other Uzbek places, specifically in Brooklyn. Service is nice but lacking consistency. Overall the place is nice.
