What a wonderful restaurant! Food was excellent. Best Borscht ever. Samarkand Plov was great. Attentive service, a very fine male vocalist with Uzbek music the Friday evening we were there and beautifully appointed Uzbek decorations. We very highly recommend.

Super disappointed. Both in food and service. Knowing how good lagman and shishkebab should taste it was not even close. We were sited in the basement, which by itself was not bad, but we asked and wates for water five times. From my experience this is not the place to taste real native food.

Extremely disappointed! I paid a ridiculous amount of money only to receive portions so small they could barely feed a child. The prices here are absolutely not justified by what you get. The food wasn’t anything special either — average at best. It honestly feels like they care more about overcharging customers than providing value or satisfaction. I left the restaurant still hungry and completely frustrated. Save your money and go somewhere that actually respects its customers and serves proper portions for what they charge.

While the food was great, we unfortunately did run into a problem. Me and my husband are vegetarian, while our two friends ate meat; when we asked for separated fish and meat kebabs, they came on the same plate, which felt very inconsiderate to our dietary needs. Yes, the restaurant was great, but we hope this mistake can be prevented in the future.

We got rushed through our dinner and was told that the people who had a reservation (we had one as well) were already here. Before we were done with our dinners , she slapped the bill our table and was told to hurry up. 4 of us with apps and dinner couldn’t even finish our meal and forget dessert. We went elsewhere for that. The food was not plentiful for the price. The bill said that a 50% charge would be added if there was less than 15% tip left. The nerve. Never again and don’t recommend.

I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent to-go order. Unfortunately, the food I received was completely different from what I had ordered. I drove 30 minutes to pick up the order, only to discover the mistake.
When I called to address the issue, the staff member I spoke with did not offer an apology. Instead, I later received a voicemail—without an actual call back—saying there was a “misunderstanding.” This response felt dismissive and unprofessional.
To make matters worse, I paid over $100 for this order and did not receive the food I requested. This is both frustrating and unacceptable.
I expect a resolution to this matter—whether through a refund, replacement of my order, or another appropriate form of compensation. I hope you will take this feedback seriously to improve your service moving forward.
