“First time stopping in. The food was great. And the price was very reasonable. The place has great atmosphere, clean & so much to choose from. Staff was super friendly. Especially Brooks, who went above & beyond helping us try decide what to order. I'm not kidding when I say everything looked so good. He kindly gave different suggestions. He took time to explain different options, what they were and how they were made. Any questions or requests we had were met with nothing but kind responses. Will definitely be back!“

“Great smash burger. Slight crisp on the outside like a smash burger should but flavorful and moist inside. Their sauce reminded me of Colombian salsa rosada. Yum. Schwarma was delicious. Rice had good flavor and texture and the chicken was moist and bursting with flavor. The service was so friendly. Can't wait to go back“

“I had a private event in the Parlor Room and it was fabulous. Food and drinks were spot on and the service was dynamite. There were 21 of us all together and everyone was well cared for by server Lily and the rest of the awesome staff. I really love the unique atmosphere of the place -warm, classy and comfortable all at once. No boring old chain restaurant vibes here. Everyone had a great time. I would definitely host future events here.“

The espresso martini was a highlight and definitely worth trying. The food was good, pretty standard bar fare, but still enjoyable. I’d love to see a bit more variety on the menu as they continue to grow.

With an assorted buffet menu and a live band, our members had a memorable evening in the private room of Tavern 73. The cash bar was very busy, and people raved about the food as they left this 4-hour event. Special thanks to Kaya and Gail for the excellent job they did to help to organize and execute this event. “This place was fantastic! My husband and I went there on a whim. And we are so glad that we did. We love the ambience, it looks like a country cottage. And the service was awesome. She was there to make us comfortable and happy.....which she did. And the food was the piece de resistance . We had stuffed zucchini blossoms for our appetizer and they were perfect. Then we got a salad, of which the house dressing is the way to go. And then we had an order of snow crab legs that were PHENOMENOL! And we also ordered the Pasta dish which had deep sea scallops and shrimp with a vodka sauce over angel hair pasta. Which was also incredibly good. We left there feeling very happy and satisfied! Thanks Country Cottage! We DEFINETLY will be back. =)“

“I haven’t been to The Barn since my kids were young, but we visited Abma’s farm today for the hayride with my daughter and granddaughter and stopped at The Barn for dinner after. What a delight! The staff were so welcoming and child-friendly. I have never been anywhere as child-friendly in Bergen County. Their outside seating area is perfect for families with young children in tow. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.“

“This was the best blizzard I've ever had. All other dairy queens I've been to have made me either wrong blizzards or liquidy blizzards and God forbid they ever flip it as the dairy queen motto says. They brought us the blizzards, flipped it in front of us and they were better tasting than any blizzards I've ever had. The food was fantastic, better than any fast food place I've ever been to. I am astonished by the quality of this place. The only thing I'm disappointed in is that it isn't closer to my house.“

You can't go wrong with their hot dogs, but do yourself a favor and get the onion petals—they're incredible. Even their drink game is strong, with a fountain that has awesome choices like Birch Beer and RC Cola.
