Exactly what I was hoping it was. Perfect portions, good prices. Simple and quality diner/luncheon food. I sat at the well loved counter, and was served a lovely dish of ham, eggs and home fries by a lovely lady who I believe was the namesake of the joint. It seems like a very regular and dedicated crowd.Wish more diners were like Karen's.

This place ROCKS! Brings you back to the old style luncheonette of the 50's and 60's. Staff is very courteous and welcoming. Food is always fresh and innovative. I go almost every day for their homemade soups. Prices are below average and menu can be limited at times, but specials are one of the reasons to visit. Oh and they are open Monday thru Friday. I'm not sure what their hours are during the weekend. Sorry.
