“Piazza 's Bakery has been my favorite bakery since my parents bought a house in Vermillion Hills in 1977. I moved to Schuylkill County in 2023 and have really missed my favorite donuts. There's nothing here that compares. I am currently thrilled because my son stopped by and got us a dozen before heading home this morning. They are as tasty as ever. Now I just have to decide, do I share? or keep them all for myself? 😁“

“Sweet T's was amazing. The taste of every cake we tried was delicious and we ended on the tres leches cake. We also had some gluten free and dairy free people at our wedding and we were able to stop by the shop on a whim to ask to add some gluten free and some dairy free cupcakes to our order for them. Decor was amazing and they were so kind. I highly recommend them for any event, we will be using them again!“

“Really nice small local ice cream shop with about 12 flavors to choose from. The ice cream is flavorful and creamy and the price is fair for the amount you get. Limited seating inside and unfortunately no seating outside, probably because of the neighborhood.

My husband wanted to order an “authentic” tres leches cake, and I’m so glad we discovered Bakery Bethlehem, because the tres leches cake with dulce de leche filling was honestly the best cake we’ve ever had (not to mention, beautifully decorated and affordable)! Our party guests were all raving about how amazing it was. And all the pastries and breads we tried were fantastic and far better than any other bakery we’ve had.“

“Got my grandsons 1st birthday cake here. Jackie made some suggestions but wasn’t pushy at all. I was so impressed by the look and the taste of the cake! It was a smash cake but tasted so much better than his birthday cake which was gotten elsewhere. She is professional and so easy to deal with. I will be getting my grandsons 2nd birthday cake here in July. P.S. get the butter cake. You will NOT be disappointed!!“

“I went more than once. The sweets are very sweet, but sometimes during the holidays there are not many choices, and the sweets were not as sweet as usual, and they are always on display and they do not know what is in it. I advise them to write the ingredients for each sweet. There are times when I am allergic to something and I do not know what is in it, and when I do not ask them, they do not know, but they just say chocolate or vanilla.“

“This is my favorite treat! Every time I enter the market, I go right to the cake area, and put one of your treats in my basket. I can not leave the store without one. “I had to be sure before I wrote a review. My daughter and I first ventured here in December. A very cold day in December. The owner was warm and the cheesecake delicious. We have started to go back since the weather has been warmer and each time whomever is working is hospitable and polite and the cheesecake is always fresh and delicious. My little girl prefers cherry while I prefer to try all of them. They are all unique in their own ways I love the sweet potato and butter pecan cheesecakes. Give them a try you will not regret it!“

The creative selection for every occasion is amazing, fun and you can also create your own idea with their help. “If you try the cookies at Downtown Cookies and say they aren’t the most delicious things you’ve ever eaten you can’t be telling the truth! Morgan and her bakers are artists with these cookies. These are massive, dense, delectable cookies with some classic and some unique flavors that Morgan has added her own flair to. She does a flavor of the month which are always on theme for a nearby holiday and they are so fun and absolute works of art. For our wedding, Morgan did an assortment of 5 cookie flavors of our choosing, plastic wrapped each, and then packaged them in individual boxes with ribbons of our color choice (to match our theme!) and then she made stickers and adorned them to each box. It was service beyond what I expected and the presentation was immaculate. We had the cookies placed at each table setting to ensure guests wouldn’t forget their favors and, walking around at our reception, we noticed more than a few cookie boxes had already been opened and sampled before the night’s conclusion. Couldn’t even blame them! Having been set on edible favors, we’re so glad we chose Morgan and Downtown Cookies to bring a sweet end to our special day.“

“I have rode by this Bakery many times heading to the Amish Market with my husband. When I saw her on social media it made us want to pay the Philly Cake Lady a visit. I know she is known for her Pistachio Cake but her Chocolate Chocolate Cake won me over and I like the nice size slices too. Now I judge every chocolate cake by hers. If doesn’t taste close to PCL I don’t want to waste my money.“

“I'm very picky with desserts. I bake my own goodies at home because store bought never meets my expectations. I tried the lemon meringue cupcake. It was a perfect combination of flavors. The lemon curd was tart and sweet. The buttercream was smooth and delicate. I got the pecan cheese cake for my husband and he said it was the best cheese cake he's ever had.. which made me a little jealous because I have made him cheesecake for years lol.
