This team is AMAZING! They came through in such a clutch. Our fundraiser was short 31 bags of donuts, 31! Totally my goof, but the team went into action and got it done for me in an hour and a half before we had to distribute the orders. Thank you for saving the day, for gathering the resources to tackle this. Much appreciated.

I was having a fundraiser for my eighth graders at my school in Bayonne and communicated with Dominic. We were not told that to make money for the fundraiser, we would have to add money to the amount that he gave us and so once orders were paid for we were just selling pies and not making any money. On top of that we were told after the order was placed that due to the distance away that we were from the business there would be a delivery fee which we were never told about before ordering. And to make things even worse, the day of delivery the pies came in the back of a U-Haul truck and 32 pies were messed up during transit. The delivery guys admitted that it was their mistake and while they were there, they spoke to Dominic via phone and we were told that the pies would be replaced, but hours later we received the message saying that he did not have the resources to replace the pies and deliver them. We were also told by Dominic‘s wife that it was our fault at the school for being nasty and disrespectful, and it was the opposite story of what really happened. Now we had to return money to families that ordered pies in time for Thanksgiving and now they will have to find an alternate way to get what they ordered and worse than that, the eighth grade will not make any money from this Fundraiser! We communicated and tried our best, but the business would not help us! Do not do business with this place because if they treated us this way and could care less, they will probably make you feel the same way.

Contracted with them for an urban area school fundraiser for Thanksgiving Pies.
They told the school that they had not added any money for a school profit. They tried to charge for delivery.
Pies arrived 4 hours late and 37 were smashed. They refused to replace the pies,
NO PROFIT FOR The STUDENTS’ ACTIVITIES, NO PIES FOR FAMILIES WHO WERE DEPENDING ON THEM, SHOOL STAFF HAD TO RETURN THE MONEY FOR THE SMASED PIES AND WORST OF ALL WAS THE ATTITUDE OF THE OWNER WHO WAS TOTALLY DISRESPECTFUL TO THE TEACHER.
DISGRACEFUL!

I just left Country Gardens and realized that they have a 3% credit card fee on the receipt now. Maybe there is one somewhere, but I didn’t see a sign for it, and I just disagree with paying that fee. I would rather see businesses charge an additional 5% for their services and products, than to see a 3% fee on my receipt. Credit card fees are a cost of doing business. That’s one of the things you sign up for when you own your own business. I also own a small business, so I totally get the crunch! I will pay extra to keep a small business going, but I won’t do it in extra fees.

Country Gardens is my go-to place for a sandwich, fresh pies, and beautiful flowers for my garden. The deli is fantastic and the pies are wonderful. I also pop in for quiche every once in a while and I've been extremely satisfied with the heat and eat offerings like soup and pastas.

They have the best hoagies around and they use Boars Head deli meats and cheeses. Disappointed in the two low sodium turkey hoagies we ordered today. When we got home, the hoagies had oven gold turkey on them. We order low sodium for a reason. If they could order the Board Head No Salt Added Turkey, that would make it even better.

Quaint local garden with fab gourmet delights
This place is very solid. Hoagies, last minute lunch meats/salads, pies and baked goods, even frozen dinner items and fruits/vegetables. Love this place. They even have propane and a garden center.
I bought a Country Gardens made turkey pot pie…full of gelatinous liquid, little turkey and looked like old cut up lunch meat. Less than 1/4 cup turkey in half a pie. Should have stayed with Griggstown…buyer beware!!!! Worst I ever had and a waste of money.POST SCRIPT…….. I need to add that I returned the pie today and received a full refund. The manager said he would check into the quality. Their fruit pies are wonderful, and I have purchased many excellent ones over the years…hopefully this recipe will be improved.
Great deli selections including Boars Head meats and cheeses.
