Ordered a margarita pizza and mozzarella sticks and am extremely disappointed in the quality of the food. Barely any cheese, sauce is cold, mozzarella sticks very bland. I will not be coming back.

I was unable to eat it was so crowded I will have to come back. I heard it's amazing pizza I can't wait to be in the neighborhood again.

The tomato sauce tasted raw. Too much acidity. The chef should use some sugar to cut the acidity.

Great pizza, good wings, friendly service. Definitely worth the ride from Freehold.

Hi, we were so excited to come here and were unfortunately disappointed in the service. We waited for only a couple of minutes before being seated. We sat at a booth for 40 minutes and were ignored. No staff member came to check on us. After 40 minutes of sitting there unattended, we walked out. Such a bummer.

Do NOT come here if you have a food allergy. Staff is unknowlegdeable to the point where it’s concerning. I don’t feel safe here and will not recommend due to staff not knowing anything about their kitchen or dishes.

Horrible customer service. Hostess / waitress was rude and nasty. Pizza was good but not that good. We ordered a sausage pie and got plain, but they still charged us for the sausage. I would have said something, but husband just wanted to get out of there. This was our go to lunch spot when visiting the area, but we will never be back.

Good pizza but the last time I took my family the credit card system went down. The waitress less us know and asked if we had cash which we did not. Had to leave and find an ATM machine (10 min). Normally I would say no big deal. But the fact the manager did nothing to make it right. I would accepted anything ($5 off, no charge for the sodas etc…) Instead they offered nothing. As I left the manager asked if everyone was okay…. She got an earful. I told her I understand that things happen but concessions can be made. Used to be a business would do something not to alienate their customers. But to offer nothing

I ordered a plain pizza. The sauce was bland. No flavor! The crust was really good. But everything on the pizza was not. In addition it was very oily. They drizzle oil on top of the pizza after baked. Wired. will not return.

Very good pizza with crispy, thin crust. First time having a tomato pie and not a fan of the tomato sauce above the cheese, but that’s personal preference. Very casual interior made for a homey vibe. Would go back to try their mustard pie.

We have been there twice, the second time on a Monday because nearby Delorenzo’s was closed. We ordered fried raviolis and they were just ok, not great. Small. Pizzas have great crust with the highly desired “no flop.” When they were delivered to our table, however, we were a bit surprised to see how oily they were. Sauce taste was ok, not great. Overall, the pizzas were very good though. Our takeaway? Delorenzo’s pizza is better. Same great crust, but even better. Sauce and toppings stellar. After eating it we immediately thought how it would be worth our 45 minute drive to get it again. So, in closing, while I’m pretty sure you’ll really like Papa’s, I’d choose DeLorenzo’s…

Yes I get that. This is supposed to be an old establishment and one of the first tomato pies in the US. Mustard on pizza, Not great. The regular tomato pie was pretty good. Oh do not get that house salad. It was basically beets with lettuce and tomato. Just gross and disappointing.

maybe Friday night was not the best choice the wait horrendous. Not the thin crust and char that I remember as a kid living in Trenton Understanding with that. they were more interested in counting money
and splitting tips at end of night then catering to the people that waited over an hour just to get order taken. Will definitely revist hope it was just a bad visit. and at $50.00 for 2 pies and a pitcher of soda. SLIGHTLY DISSAPOINTED AND IM ACTUALLY SAD TO SAY.
