This restaurant is near me in my neighborhood shopping strip. I purchased a local flavor coupon for them (It's just like Groupon. I actually bought two I figured what the heck I love Jamaican/Caribbean food why not get two). I tried to order last month I drove there, and they weren't even open (during their stated operating hours). No biggie didn't think much of it. The next two times I've tried to call to see if they were open before driving over - no answer both days. Today I called and somebody answered, boy was I excited. I placed my order and headed over 15 minutes after. Waited ten minutes for my order and when I went to pay, I let the girl know I had a "Local Flavor" coupon showing them the scan code. She was like oh we don't take that. I showed her that it was indeed for her restaurant. She went to get the manager or owner who came out to let me know that they don't deal with Local Flavor once again I showed them my phone and showed them their name/logo, scrolled to their address and phone number. Then the response turned to oh well we haven't been signed up with them since February. Meanwhile I'm standing there with my phone going, "Okay well, you might not be participating and allowing people to purchase additional coupons however, I've purchased two and they haven't expired yet. You aren't going to honor what you've singed up and agreed to?" The woman said no, and I responded saying, "That's fine, if this is how you treat patrons and potential customers. I'm not one to leave reviews but you can be sure I will today". Meanwhile she's just staring back at me telling me they don't accept the Local Flavor Tbh, I've eaten here about 4 of months ago, my sister picked up 3 orders. The Hummingbird IMO is much better with larger portions for the price. I thought Tripple T wasn't worth the full price, so I was happy I had two $30 coupons from them. Not anymore. I'm literally still shaking my head at them right now thinking about it as my stomach is about to growl in hunger. Even if they weren't going to honor the code.. they still could have offered something. #Justsaying

As a small business owner to two businesses I really do not write bad reviews unless I must. Came across this place on ig and was so excited that they were so close to me, I'm new to the area and have been trying a variety of Jamaican spots to find my fav. I saw the menu and was like I'm going here today no matter what! Ordered the food maybe and hour from closing, first of all whoever answered the phone (a male) sounded like he was answering his home phone (1st red flag) I proceeded to order the MANGO j*** chicken rice peas Mac and cheese and festival....no festival (2nd red flag) so I ordered cabbage instead (no biggie but still a red flag for me) Find the place with no problem as it's only 12 mins from my home. I walk in and a young man is sitting there on his phone, no greeting or anything and almost seemed like I was bothering him, I tell him I'm picking up my order "where do I go or who do I go to" because clearly it isn't him. I go to what I assume is the bar? Another young man brings out my food, oh yes (the 3rd red flag) the place is completely empty and very dark (not a single customer in site) At first I didn't think much as it was an hour before closing, however from experience at other establishments that seems to be the time people want to go grab food the most ,but hey I digress. Anywho, I drive home mad excited to try this food I had been drooling all over Instagram all afternoon about (that gooey Mac, and most importantly the MANGO j*** chicken!!!!!!!!!!!!) Well, I get home, open the platter and my heart immediately sank, I'm like have I been food catfished?!!!!!!! First of all, it was regular j*** chicken which would have been fine except it had absolutely NO flavor!!!!!!! I'm not even exaggerating, and then it had the nerve to be spicy as hell, the rice and peas also didn't have any flavor, that gooey Mac and cheese I was looking for was no more than some regular macaroni noodles and again, NO flavor!!!!! It was not gooey in fact it was dry af to the point I ate a large piece that was stuck together it was so hard I couldn't even actually chew it! Last but certainly not least, that cabbage, no flavor and was not cooked long enough. So I'm over here sweating up a storm trying to eat this flavorless meal because I just spent $19 for it, I didn't even eat a third before my sadness just overwhelmed me to the point where I couldn't continue on. This small foodie is very sad, I'll stick to hummingbird, they have the best bbq j*** I've ever had in my life Idk maybe the chef was having a bad day, either way I won't be back cause the way inflation is set up right now chilleeeeeee naw. Good luck though! I see the other great reviews so clearly people like this place, just was not my speed.

This was my first visit to Tripple T and we will be back!! We did Take Out for this trip. Simply... We enjoyed everything.. The appetizers.. The Entrées... We're looking forward to checking out other items on the menu the next time!! If you want a taste of the Caribbean.. Give it a try!!

I needed a venue 3 weeks before my event and these guy came through for me. They did everything I didn’t have time to do. Despite being professional, the organizer made me feel like family. Awesome place, food and people. See for yourself!!!

I was planning on meeting my cousin there for dinner and we both kept driving around and couldn't find the place. I finally called and they said they didn't have a sign out which was weird. It was a hot summer night, we walked in there was not one person in the place the place was barely lit and the air conditioner wasn't on. The place look deserted and we had no choice but to turn around and walk out. I can't see this place staying in business very long. They have nothing to offer.

Unfortunately they try to cut corners by small portions of the protein and fill the plate with rice. I ordered oxtail which was mainly rice and side and two pieces of oxtail bones for $25. They did refund me my money but unfortunately this is the last time I will order from here. This is because when I raised the complaint they seemed to know that this a practice that they have. They are all about the profit.

So let me tell you how this restaurant is my favorite spot in Central Jersey. 2 WEDDINGS‼️ My cousin first did her wedding there and then my best friend.Decoration was A1. - Topclass decor. The restaurants event planner Tameka was so easy to deal with, she help us to make this special moment one of the best in our memory book.Food was well seasoned and filled with flavor. We had Rasta Pasta, Coconut Shrimp, Hennessy J*** Chicken, Panseared Salmon, Escovitch Fish, Garden Salad and more options. My sister’s bestfriend is a SueChef and she said the food was well seasoned, and made to perfection.Customer service was exceptional as usual. Staff were well dressed, clean and respectful. Their hospitality never fails. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.This restaurant is underrated if you should ask me. They covered every point. Finger licking good ????? Believe me, we got seconds to take home. The portions, the service from Chynah, the vybz the FOOD was amazing.Try them yourself, this place is the real deal. I promise
I had my birthday brunch here, and had an amazing time. The vibez, the food, music & drinks were great. The decor & food was my favorite part of it all. The owner has an amazing spirit and I am so thankful for her. Have your next event here, date night, girls night etcc, you won’t regret it!!!!!!

Starving and new to the area... We walked in and was greeted w great energy. Wonderful ambiance and my favorite positive music is playing. We got lucky and chicken soup was available. I cannot explain how happy we were w the soup! We also had soft sweet festival, bangbang shrimp and coconut shrimp! Delicious food, excellent service and presentation! We will be back to run thru the menu! Tameka and Justin were superb!!!

Ordered the j*** chicken and the j*** red snapper, even though the portions were good the food was tasteless. The fish was more like brown stew and falling apart bones mingle in the rice the presentation was not good. While the j*** chicken was tender again NO TASTE!!! I love Caribbean and was hoping to like this place. For the price which was expensive it could have at least been pleasing to my palette.

I don't like to knock on small business but $25 for oxtail is a little steep unless they though I don't know anything about Jamaican food? I don't know but little too expensive. Good atmosphere and vibes.
