Chipotle Mexican Grill

The food is great but they need to clean the tables, empty the trash, and sweep the floor more often. There wasn't one clean table in the place. The trash was overflowing. There were plenty of workers there. It doesn't inspire confidence in the safety of the food.

Second occurence with this location. Probems occur and I don't like to leave bad reviews for one bad incident. This is the second bad incident at this store while the same manager is on duty. Around 6:00 PM Tuesday 1/6/26.

Waiting on an unneccessarily long line because they have one person preparing meals while two others stand at the register doing nothing.

We finally make it through the line only to find nearly all the tables are filthy, most of the juices at the juice station are empty, and the manager is doing nothing about it.

While eating the prep line clears, we finish our food only to find all of the gargage cans overflowing while three people are standing at the register doing nothing while the manager sits at the table behind us eating chips as tables remain filthy and the garbage canse are overflowing. Sadly, Chipotle doesn't seem to care about feedback as we told them about the last incident and nothing has changed. Definitely seek out another Chiptole store.

If i could give it zero stars i would! Place is filthy, food is cold and the guacamole is always horrible, and the customer service is non-existent! I don’t see this place being open for much longer.

What a filthy place. The NJ Health Department would give them a Orange Placard if inspection was held today.
Trash all over the floor, trash cans overflowing, food at every seating area.
8 workers, 5 customers and cleanliness seems to be off no concern.

Thankfully I have many years of experience eating in dumps, hellholes throughout the world. I was hangry and could also use a good cleansing so I braved it.

I'm not joking about the trashyness though.
A Orange New Jersey Health Placard is issued when a place is Conditionally Satisfactory. Meaning There are major violations or numerous minor ones that need immediate correction, but health department allows temporary operation.

I honestly was l expecting a rat to walk out and start eating off the floor.

This use to be my favorite chipotle in Jersey, but I am so sad. Tonight they charged me for two chicken bowls which is what I asked for and somehow they missed putting the chicken on both. It was crowded and they were all over the place with my order so I had missed that they didn’t add chicken. Pretty upset about that.

Just threw a bowl into the bag I didnt get 10 feet out of the store before the bowl came out of the bottom of the bag. cashier threw it in the bag asked if I needed anything else and turned around. then when I came back in 20 seconds later and showed the guy he was basically like I dont know what your talking about. it wasnt worth my time or energy. not long after I realized I had barbacoa liquid all over my shoes and pants. super awesome experience.

The food is fine but I am always surprised that its never hot. Its always like warm, which tells me sitting around uncovered. Also, the place is always dirty. No one cleans the tables when dinners leave. You have to clean it yourself. Its why I haven't been to Chipolte in over a year and why I rather go somewhere else.

I used to come to this Chipotle all the time when I use to work at the mall, but this location has really gone downhill compared to others. I got food poisoning after an eating a quesadilla from here two days ago — woke up nauseous, ended up vomiting and sick for over 24 hours. I’ve never had that happen at any other Chipotle. Really hope management checks food safety here.

I just got the most disgusting salad at this chipotle. I'm 9 months pregnant and was very much looking forward to treating myself to a salad from Chipotle. I saw that the person making the salad put very little lettuce in it and when I got home and began eating it, I understood why. The lettuce was extremely wilted like when you leave a container of spring mix in your fridge for too long and it starts turning into water and gets extremely soft and gross. I really can't believe someone could look at a pregnant customer and serve food to them like that. They must not care. Needless to say I could not eat the food and will not be back at this location or maybe any location again.

The entire team is absolutely incredible especially the management team , I eat here daily and they are extremely kind , food is always fresh and portions are always plentiful . The only location I go to !

Constantly out of food at the counter and rushing to prepare more in the back (always happens every time I’m there). Waiting time is ridiculous and food is not prepared well. Constantly a stop in the line with no one at the counter. Takes 30 minutes to get a bowl.
