“Beautiful decor on the inside. Restaurant gets busy so make reservation just in case! Had dinner Monday night and Ashley was amazing. The sake warrior is like a limey summer refresher. Just with a little twist. Really good! Shrimp dumplings are so bomb, as well as the sesame chicken and glass noodle. Great service.”

“Finally, we stopped in for take-out dinners. Had a lovely chat with owners while waiting. At home,we discovered the best finger licking food. Every morsel was sooooo good. The humus never should be missed for any meal. Chicken thighs and beef are very savory. Dill dip fresh and cooling where the hot dip was unique and very enjoyable. The Mediterranean 'rice' has a savory finish. Everyone was raving how much we enjoyed our meal. The plan is to let relatives experience a sitdown dinner in the dining room which has a lovely atmosphere. Everthing is very clean and neatly arranged. We are making this jem a regular dinner option. Lamb is my next dinner experience.”

“This place is truly one of the best parts of Rockaway. I work at the doctor's office up the street from it and we order take out a lot. They serve all the classic bar favorites to perfection! The juicy burgers are fresh and absolutely fantastic...and OMG the cheesesteak is AWESOME!!!!! But what really makes this place standout are the people behind all of it. Bridgett, the owner, is genuinely one of the loveliest and most accommodating people you'll ever meet. She goes out of her way to make everyone feel welcome, and you can tell that she puts her heart into the place. She will personally deliver our food to our office every single time because we are so busy. And Myles deserves a huge shout-out. That man can cook a burger like nobody else, and the cheesesteak he puts out is honestly next-level! You can taste the care and skill in every bite of it. It's disappointing to see a few unfair reviews floating around, because they don't reflect the real experience here. Great food, great atmosphere, and truly GREAT people. The Mill deserves all the support in the world!”

“Love the food here but boy do I dread meeting those two men who run the restaurant. Always stoic and very stingy with the veggies, if i ask for more, they always seem annoyed and will only add 3 little cubes of diced cucumbers 😂Ordered here many weeks back, I didn't tip and the guy who was serving me walked away mumbling something in his language. His coworker then came to finish transaction. Please be kind to people because that's how you retain your customers and attract new ones.”

“This was our favorite restaurant for years when we lived in NJ. We were in area last week (after 15 years). WOW - the menu, the food, the cocktails, the service and effort put into everything is still FABULOUS! Our dinner on Friday was so good, we ate there again on Saturday night. “Had a problem with my burger that the lead manager came over and fixed promptly, but the bespectacled man who took our order was passive-aggressive and very condescending. According to our receipt, apparently the man's name was Lorenzo. In the first place, Lorenzo refused to even take my order until my fiancé (who was with me) ordered her food first. The reason Lorenzo gave for this was simply an insistence on "ladies first!" While Lorenzo had a point about this being good manners and proper etiquette, for him to be as adamant and imposing about it was rude, inappropriate and uncalled-for in the context of a customer service experience. Not only this, but every time I politely asked him a question about if a certain condiment had been placed on my order or not, he would reply "You already said that" in an extremely passive-aggressive manner if I managed to accidentally repeat myself. Lorenzo's whole attitude made it seem like he was trying to make me look as bad as he possibly could in front of my woman, which makes me wonder if perhaps it was a lame- brained attempt to steal someone else's lady. Apparently, he felt that I needed to be "put in my place", when I in fact did nothing to deserve this treatment. All I did was initiate was a simple business transaction. This whole encounter made me feel like a victim of reverse racism, due to the fact the cashier in question was black and he was acting like he was under the impression that white people owe him something besides the money they pay for their food at this location. And if not reverse racism, then I am accusing Lorenzo of blatant gender-on-gender misandry.”

“Ice cream was very good. I grew up in Perry's ice cream in upstate New York and was excited to see this is the brand they use. It's a cute place with a few tables inside. The young lady that was working the night we went greated us with a smile and was patient while we all decided what we wanted. Try it. You won't be disappointed.”

“Just tried this place out to see if the high rating was real or not. The real reason is we hoped the positive reviews were true. We got tacos with rice and beans. Simple dish, but it's smell and taste were through the roof perfection. Three warm savory corn tortillas for each and each delectable. It reminded me of the best Mexican street food, only better, I had a seat! The staff is basically all family and THAT alone says something about the care behind every dish.”

I can't say enough good things about Riviera Maya Mexican in Rockaway! This place has quickly become a favorite stop for me and my fellow soldiers during our drill weekends. The food is consistently fresh and absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options that never disappoint.

The service is always fast and friendly, making us feel right at home every time we visit. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure we have a great experience, which is truly appreciated, especially when we come in with a group of about a dozen.

“We had an absolutely spectacular lunch at Olive Garden! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was wonderful, and best of all , we enjoyed a great meal with great friends.

Our waitress Yuly, excellent, friendly attentive and made sure everything was perfect throughout our lunch. The manager, Tai, also stopped by to check on us and made sure we were happy, which was such a nice personal touch.

Everything was perfect from start to finish. Great food, excellent service, and wonderful company made for a fantastic lunch experience. We will definitely be back.”

“Jake was so sweet and amazing at the register, but the cooks kept messing up everyone's orders including mine. When the food is done correctly, it is amazing and tasty, but on a Saturday night, there were two new cooks who did not listen to anyone. Everyone was getting mad and they were making the food in the wrong order. I talked to the manager that night, and the cooks would not listen to her. Poor Jake was taking all the heat for the cooks' mistakes.”
