Now the food… I had the special, “The Gobbler” and it was unbelievably tasty. The crunch from the toasted bread, the flavors all together were a symphony on my taste palette. My gf got the “Toni Ann” and she couldn’t talk while we were eating together because she wouldn’t stop stuffing her face. After she said the chicken cutlet was cooked perfect, mozzarella was fresh, peppers were exquisite. Overall experience was just mind-blowing. I’d recommend Ferraro’s to any person, local or travelers, you NEED to stop and eat here.“

“We went last night to celebrate NYE at Rosie's... the food was delicious, however we did not get our dinner until 10:45. We arrived at 8:30. In fact, our table was last to receive each course of the meal, and it was just too slow. The bill for 4, with tip, was $650, which is too much to receive such poor service.“

“It's always a delight to eat at Bruno's Bistro. The atmosphere is so warm and friendly. We're visiting family and getting to eat delicious, freshly prepared food. Some of our favorites are the cheese gnocchi with crabmeat in vodka sauce, short ribs, and the paroadelle bolognese. The pistachio dessert is to die for. Their whipped cream is homemade and to perfection. Mangia and enjoy!“

“When we decided to make a reservation here I was concerned because the parking situation in Madison is difficult. IlGoccino has parking in the rear of the restaurant so it was fine. The staff were warm and welcoming and they honored our reservation on arrival. The food was excellent - the salmon cooked to perfection and the chicken was tender and delicious as well. While we will always miss Chuck, we hope the new owner preserves the incredible ambiance and vibe that keeps the regulars coming back! There's simply no other place like it. A huge part of why we return is Mauricio the Chef, who makes the best pasta fagioli, and the wonderful servers like Joannie. We go for that unique feeling as much as for the fantastic food. “It's pricier than an average restaurant, but if you're looking for a more upscale experience this place is a great choice. And that's coming from someone who doesn't prefer upscale places. The meatball appetizer is amazing, as is the cheese pastry appetizer. There are a lot of pasta dishes that you won't find in a normal restaurant. I can say this pretty confidently because I didn't recognize half of the items on the menu =D

The pasta is all homemade and the sauces were delicious.

The atmosphere is perfect for small groups. My wife and I went with two other couples and it was very easy to visit and hear each other. The music playing on the speakers wasn't loud enough to interfere with any conversation, and it was just loud enough to provide some nice background music.

“Small but excellent Italian deli with all the classics. The Italian and chicken cutlet hero’s were on point, quality of the meats and cheeses were on the level you’d expect from a shop that is importing many of their ingredients directly from Italy.

The $3 Parmesan and prosciutto arancini were a great snack to add on as well. Look forward to going back and working my way through the menu.“

“I have had two bridal showers at Portofino in Oak Ridge, and not only did everyone love the food, but Nancy and the entire staff is outstanding. They go above and beyond to help you in any capacity that they can. I highly recommend Portofino either for lunch, dinner or any kind of event you have whether it is big or small. You can't go wrong with Portofino, I can't say enough great things about the staff and restaurant!“
