“I always buy food here at Puco Calor; the food is delicious, especially the platters. But believe me, the service makes you never want to come back. They treat you like they're giving the food away for free. They're grumpy and bring their personal problems to work; they don't provide proper service. The soda used to be included whenever I ordered food, whether in person or by phone, but now they charge $3 for a soda, which is quite expensive. I understand they have their policies, but they should tell you when you buy a lunch special or a platter. I don't know if they've changed staff recently, but I don't feel like going back, even though the food is good; the atmosphere is just too unpleasant.“

“I take an hour drive for their lunch/dinner specials, food is always delicious, a very pleasant restaurant and a very welcoming servet and staff. Highly recommended, If you are in the Wharton/Dover area and craving Colombian food, give them a try.“

“Great rotisserie chicken and chicharon/fried pork. They used to cut up the pork belly if you ask but last visit they said they don’t do it anymore.
The sides are also good- we’ve tried them all but always get the chicken and pork.
They are definitely known for their rotisserie chicken. It’s in the name. We come at least 2x a month
Parking: Parking in the back but usually there’s some on the side of the building
Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp access I believe.“

“The greatest place to have a delicious diner. My family and I experienced a very proffecional and lovely behavior for the Colombian waitresses, and very special environment that made us feel at home. The menu was small no to much to chose but perfectly exquisite having pretty much of the Colombian cuisine“

“Decor is vibrant, colorful, and casual. Lots of places to sit. Staff is always super friendly and very helpful for explaining things. Lots of personal attention if you have questions about the food or any allergy issues. A lot of times, staff have offered to get me things fresh out of the oven. Their pan de queso and pastries are absolutely some of the best I’ve had anywhere. I usually come for a morning coffee and a snack, and have not had a chance to try their short rib soup. But based on how good it looks, it is very high on my list for a lunch meal.“

“I love coming to Altoque! It’s such an amazing place, not only because of the great food, but also because of the friendly and welcoming atmosphere created by the staff. Everyone is always kind, attentive, and smiling, which makes every visit a great experience.
I especially want to highlight Fabián, he’s always incredibly attentive to every detail. From the moment you arrive, he makes sure everything is perfect: the orders, the service, and even the small gestures that truly make a difference.
His kindness and professionalism take the Altoque experience to another level.
