Always searching for new pizzerias, I stopped in for lunch at Pizza Rustica yesterday. This restaurant is located in a strip mall off Main Street in Rockaway. There's plenty of parking in the lot in front. The place is big inside with plenty of seating. The counter is on the right with a few small tables. To the left is a large dining room. I always love when there's plenty of choices of pies for slices, and they had an excellent selection here. I chose a slice of broccoli rabe with sausage. That combo is great and you don't find that on pies too often. Very friendly server behind the counter giving details on other pies. It was a fun stop and I definitely recommend!

Ordered a pizza for delivery and the delivery driver could not find a common hotel in the area. Delivery driver left the pizza on the hotel lobby desk without even calling my phone. Pizza temperature felt like it had been transported in the trunk of a car without heat. Would not order again, especially at almost $40.00 for a pizza with tip.

Not at all a hole in the wall. Open and airy with nice decor. Very friendly staff. The food was excellent! We had: Chicken with creamy pesto and Eggplant Rollatini and the salad was large and very complex. I was very impressed when I asked for balsamic vinegar and olive oil on the side and actually got wonderful olive oil. We will be back .
