One star. I ordered because I’m very sick and cannot leave my home; I clearly explained on two separate occasions that one of my items must have no tomatoes and no bread due to dietary/health needs. The bowl arrived acceptable, but the lamb gyro was horrific — it was mostly tomatoes with barely any meat, and the bread was still in it. It looked like a joke and was inedible. I paid $48.74 plus a $7 tip to the driver for a service I needed while ill, and the restaurant’s “fix” was to offer another meal two days later — only when a specific employee [ Niko ] is on shift. That’s not a solution; it’s dismissive and puts customers at risk. Do not order if you have allergies, medical diets, or expect basic attention to instructions. I ordered from here many times, and there always seemed to be some slip-up here and there, but this is by far the worst I have seen when it comes to customer attentive needs.

Best food in the area! Truly you can taste the freshness in every bite. It’s quick and easy and most importantly healthy! Love ordering lunches and some extra sides to last for snacks. Even convinced my employer to use them for catering for events, everyone was thrilled with the quality.

I was excited about trying this spot out but when I got home before I went up the stairs half of my wrap fell out of the bag. When the lady wrapped it in foil it was vary lose so with all the liquid coming out it end up breaking the bag and fell out.

This was our first time ordering here and not one item was fully correct. They’re lucky the food is semi decent. They didn’t put the other half serving of lamb on one bowl, we were missing multiple toppings, and gave us the wrong sauces. Order was also ready 10 minutes past the pickup window after being scheduled an hour in advance. When I tried to call to get a refund for the missing meat etc, I was met with an AI bot and it was fully useless. I understand stores are busy but the AI bot didn’t know what “incorrect order” meant. This was the first and last time ordering here. If you order from here, check your meal before you leave.

Awesome. Got the falafel bowl. I'm trying to go more vegetarian - so this place is a real good, healthier option for me when I'm in the Rockaway Mall. LOVE it! Plan to also get here whenever I go for a movie at the AMC .

Mezeh has been an outstanding place to dine. The atmosphere is welcoming, the food is always fresh and full of flavor, and the variety of options makes it easy to find something enjoyable every time. The staff is attentive and friendly, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. I really appreciate the consistency in both quality and service, things have definitely changed for the better since they opened.

First time ordering from here and it was a make your own bowl for pickup. It had 6 toppings on it. I only received 3 of the 6 toppings. I saw other reviews about orders not being correct. I should have checked before I left.

It was amazing when it opened but Quality has really gone down hill since. Now it's hit or miss . Regularly will get rotting spinach now. Also big nasty chunks of barely cooked chicken. Also half the time on door dash the bowl is half full. I think you need to look at management here.
Edit as of August 2025, consistency and quality have improved.. I don't think it's a coincidence I see new managers working here.

First time at this establishment and I must say I was very impressed with the service, the cleanliness , the menu and most importantly, the delicious, savory and super fresh ingredients!!! I opted for a menu item, the Sultans Choice, which I thoroughly enjoyed , looking forward to trying the rest of the menu before I build my own bowl!! Bravo to the young lady at the front and the two young men all working together!!! Thank you !!!
