Meats etc. are fine but be careful going here during COVID. Went today and one employee was not wearing his mask and though he spent most of his time in the back he came to the front periodically. We also heard him coughing. I regret going there now and I wish I’d left the moment I saw an employee with his mask hanging from his ear instead of properly in place.

German and Eastern European meats and foods. Made on premises sauerkraut, bologna and pork roll. The keilbasa and bratwurst are out of this world. This butcher shop is must go.

Very nice German butcher store with a lot of German specialties - Leberkäse, Sülze and Weißwurst being my favorites. They also offer a good chunk of butcher unrelated products from Germany such as herring salad with red beets, German chocolate and instant potato dumplings.

Schwind's is the best butcher! My family used to go there all the time for their Knockwurst and Liverwurst etc. now that we live in NC, we call in orders which they will shrink wrap and freeze for us so that we can bring them home down south. Hard to find an authentic German butcher anywhere so go here and enjoy!!

This is THE place. If you long for serious quality in your meats and sausages this is the place. I get their basic hot dog and put it on my grill. This simple dish is the best it can be. Their keilbasa (grilled at home) beats any other store-bought product. I tried their smoked ribs which simple can be warmed on the grill (with or w/o sauce) is a great product. One day recently I purchased Schwind's hard salami plus a pepper cheese. I literally could not stop eating it once home. No mustard, no bread, just eat from the package. Smoked bacon is the bomb!

Wonderful German butcher and SmokeHaus . The smell of smoked meat and kielbasi bring back a flood of youthful memories. The kielbasi, Kabanos, spice stix and Liverwurst are the best. Highly recommend for top quality meats!
