The aroma when you walk in the door titillates the nostrels and kicks your saliva glands into action. If you want an Old World style butcher shop, this is the place to go. German and Eastern European meats and foods. Made on premises sauerkraut, bologna and pork roll. The keilbasa and bratwurst are out of this world. This butcher shop is must go.
Very nice German butcher store with a lot of German specialties - Leberkäse, Sülze and Weißwurst being my favorites. They also offer a good chunk of butcher unrelated products from Germany such as herring salad with red beets, German chocolate and instant potato dumplings.
Schwind's is the best butcher! My family used to go there all the time for their Knockwurst and Liverwurst etc. now that we live in NC, we call in orders which they will shrink wrap and freeze for us so that we can bring them home down south. Hard to find an authentic German butcher anywhere so go here and enjoy!!
