Only go here if you wanna pay for overpriced, WEAK drinks! I ordered a whiskey sour. The bill came and they charged me an extra $2 for the sour mix (never in my life have I seen this done before) AND they charged me for a double, even though I didn’t order a double. When I spoke to the manager she said this is their standard pour, and they’ve always done it this way. So they basically don’t even let you get just a regular drink. She said that since I drank it I have to pay for it. I find it ridiculous I had to pay for something I didn’t even order. What should have been a $12 drink was a $20 drink. And if they actually served me a double like they said, it should have tasted like a double. The manager was extremely rude and disrespectful, and pretty much just told us we had pay for it even though we didn’t order it. If you’re going to serve and charge people for doubles as your standard pour you should say it on the menu.

Tried for the first time tonight, we’re not local, wings are a must here try the boneless you’ll be surprised they’re definitely a home made feel, nachos and pretzel Appetizer are great aswell.
Are you tired of the sterile environment of say Applebees? Would you like to visit a dive bar that’s a one-off original with it’s own funky atmosphere? Say they had the best burgers around. Sold yet? What about a killer beer menu? This is the place you need to be. My barbecue bacon burger was excellent. Dark Tower beer fabulous. Don’t bring your whining kids here. No one would appreciate it. Besides there are neon signs with colorful language on the walls you won’t want to explain!
I would rather visit here than any french restaurant any day.

The best elevated dive bar around. The food is great. Homemade sauces, fresh pizza dough made in house very good, all ingredients are fresh. The burgers and sliders are a hit. And you must try the chopped cheese. So many options for local NJ beers on tap and in can. Get to Tavern on the Rocks asap.
